The Woodman is truly an exceptional venue! From the stunning location and fantastic facilities to the spacious beer garden and welcoming atmosphere, this pub ticks every box. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, offering outstanding service throughout. The range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is brilliant, and the homemade food is absolutely delicious—everything from freshly made pizzas to party-sized cakes and snacks. The pricing is very reasonable, making it a perfect choice for any occasion.

We recently booked the Woodman for my Nan’s wake, and the experience was flawless. The owner and staff were amazing, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The owner personally walked us through the food and drink packages available and even closed the venue to the public so our family and friends could have the space entirely to ourselves. Fabian, the manager, offered ongoing support, including coordinating a slideshow of family photos to be displayed on screens around the venue. It was truly thoughtful.

Thanks to the care and attention of the Woodman team, we now have cherished memories of such an important day. We’ve also found our new local pub! Whether it’s a quick drink with friends or a family celebration, I would highly recommend the Woodman to anyone. Thank you again to...

The Woodman is a great new pub handy for bus and train near Wimbledon park . Great live music of the kind you will remember for a while, as a great night out. Top bands have played there and a great selection of the finest ales and wine . I played there myself in a Rock Blues band I created with the drummer, we also played The Half Moon and Dublin Castle Camden. I no longer play with the band due to its total lack of direction and certain members being very ,very middle of the road pop music lovers and choice of songs, I will however be back on the road with a high energy live band . The Woodman pub has a history of changing things around and recently had Chris Moyes band. Its worth watching what the management do in bringing the best available entertainment. Please support this pub as an assest of the community, you will miss it if its no longer there. The food is remarkable and I intend to frequent this pub every chance I get. We were made welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Where other local pubs can be a bit daunting, this was a relaxed and friendly bunch happy to talk to strangers and make you at home. Tell the landlord or bar staff what it is you want to see at the pub, live bands or DJ 's. Make it your pub, build a community around the nucleus of whats already...

The Woodman is a delightful pub that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed drink or a hearty meal. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you step inside. The pub's menu offers a good selection of classic pub fare, all prepared to a high standard and at reasonable prices. The fish and chips are particularly noteworthy, with crispy batter and flaky fish. The real ales are well-kept, and the wine list offers a decent selection for those who prefer a glass of something more refined. The pub's interior is cozy and traditional, with plenty of comfortable seating areas, including a lovely outdoor terrace for those warmer days. The decor is tasteful and reflects the pub's namesake, the renowned artist and designer William Morris. Whether you're looking for a quick pint after work or a leisurely meal with friends, The Woodman is an excellent choice. It's a reliable and enjoyable pub that consistently delivers a...

This place has a great atmosphere! Anna is there pretty much all the time. She and the rest of the team really care for the customer, they are very polite and kind. And they mix something individually without leaving any of you wishes out. Also the chef is very kind and is happy to customise an order for you as you like. I mostly have a slingbury rhubarb with light tonic (the silver one) and strawberries - you can thank me later ;) Next time I will try the steak. It looked yummy! The bathrooms are always clean and the area outside is very convenient especially when the weather is so hot like these days. My colleagues and I love this place and go there quite a lot. Delicious food, good beer and nice other drinks! PS: I tried the steak now - soooooo good! Also try the sausage mash - BEST gravy ever! Those 2 are my favourite dishes here now :)

We stayed 2 nights @ standard double room (#202) Reception: Friendly and good explanation how to unlock the door. After, we did not see them again. When we left, the reception was dark. It felt like they don’t care about guests once they collected money. Room: Very tiny loft conversion. Not much space to move due to slope roof. Stained carpet, broken insulation door, a hanging cable, a stick ring out TV corner (easy to bump your head. No safety?) very disappointed. Shower room: Decent size and not bad shower. Toilet flush is random. Quite often no flush at all. No toiletries, no daily cleaning and no changing towels. Not very good service, except some discounts in the pub below.
