Being a massive fan of their Richmond Branch my wife and I finally made the journey over to their original Wimbledon location for the famed Burger Night. Needless to say we absolutely loved it ! The place was buzzing with people clearly enjoying their time. We started with the nachos were made in house and soooo tasty. We also had the Halloumi Fries which were just absolutely incredible. Lightly breaded and thick with cheese. The burgers naturally being the main event were wonderful. We shared both the Chicken Burger and Beef Burger and they were moist, moorish and just all together addictive. We were very tempted by the hotdog but couldn't quite fit that in though next time that's one to be tried. We ended the light with a Chocolate Orange Bombe which had all the fun elements and the rich orange flavour of a dessert you would expect. Divine.

As i sit here now I am contemplating leaving a review or not. We haven’t had food whilst there however we have had some drinks and the tea pot and glass our drinks were served in were so dirty and the area around especially the tables and the cushions around the back bench are so dirty. The staff seem friendly however the place needs to consider closing for a while and do a full cleanup as it’s not a place I would like to visit again without the fear of getting sick because of the lack of cleanliness. Update Response to your reply: I doubt that rinse aid is going to clean the tables which were full of grime, the floors were sticky and the pillows behind which if you zoom in the photos can see the stains on the pillows on the back benches, not to mention the back kitchen 😧

This place has got potential but it’s not quite there yet. Visited on a Sunday morning. Ordered their signature vegetarian breakfast: Poached eggs with peppers grilled vegetables mushrooms, halloumi cheese and avocado. No avocado on the plate. Told the staff, received just a cursory apology and was charged in full. Coffee was ok. A bit too long for a single espresso but the taste was good and it wasn’t burnt. Table next to me ordered some custard tarts but had to send them back because they were mouldy. Will probably give them another shot as I think they can improve but was a bit disappointed...

I used to come here every month before moving to a different part of the city. I came back after almost two years and the quality has gone down by a lot! The staff is actually very nice and attentive, I even tipped them good because they work well but the food is just not worth it! My full vegetarian breakfast came with no bread My spinach were half cooked and half raw. The rest of the vegetables were just boiled with apparently no seasoning whatsoever and were quite sad and tasteless. Quantity was quite poor as well, which I welcomed because I couldn't have eaten more of that sad, sad food. Definitely not worth the £13 it costs. It's a family friendly place so it's madness if you come between 12 and 2 (loads of children screaming in a relatively small place) but I gladly endured the pain of having my ears distroyed when the food was ace. Now there's no way I am coming back. There's a beautiful and delicious café called Saucer and Cup just 5 mins from Lupo Bros, I would definitely recommend to go there instead! Very upset I didn't head there myself today.

*edit: the restaurant's owner made me aware through their response to my review that bread isn't included as the vegetarian breakfast is a gluten free option, so my bad for expecting bread in a meal that doesn't have it in the first place. all the rest I wrote...

I was recommended this place by my Airbnb host and the food was as amazing as she had described, but the service today was bad enough I’m having to write a review. We asked for Bloody Mary at the start and they said they didn’t have the ingredients to make it, even though all the ingredients were visible in the cafe and it was past 11am when they serve drinks with brunch. My coffee came after I reminded the staff for my order about 10 minutes after my boyfriend’s. The food took quite a long time to come out, which we thought it was alright as the place was quite busy, but when it did, it was just my boyfriend’s. I’ve also noticed people that had arrived a lot later than us getting their food before ours. Mine came about another 10 minutes later, after we reminded the staff about the order. When we asked for water, the glasses they gave us were straight from the dishwasher and boiling hot. I hate to say, but one of the waitresses had very long nails which isn’t ideal at all. The food was really good, to be fair. In particular, the sweetcorn fritters...

Nice place, but I have to put this out because it’s niggled the back of my head since. Where I’m from, we don’t use unhomogenised milk. We don’t see it in cafes. And so, when I saw the milk residue caking on side of the carton, I just politely asked was that milk okay. This would usually indicate the milk had spoiled. Maybe I was wrong to ask this question. The Barista for some reason took this up wrong, and looked at me as if I had two heads, and just said it’s unhomogenised, that that’s how it’s supposed to be. He put me on the spot and poured me a cup for a taste and it was nice. But the attitude of, how could you not know this is unhomogenised, and ensue the confused laughter at me as I was leaving has just grated me since. It was awkward and it certainly wasn’t customer friendly. Other staff were pleasant. But I was made feel stupid by that fella. And I was made feel I insulted the place by asking a simple question. Don’t do that to...
