I went to this pub recently, the band were Fantastic but as for the staff, they were short of being courteous, they started to change the price of the drinks as the evening went on, one member of our group after being there drinking since 7pm was ask to leave at about 11pm as they refused to pay for a round of drinks they had ordered, due to the price being changed, it was the same drinks they had drunk all evening. they were told a little while later, by one member of staff, 'if you are not going to drink , then you must leave the pub' We were made to feel very unwelcome. After all our group had spent over £200 on drink; we didn't deserve to be treated so shabbily. We will not be going to this pub again due to the way we were treated. THEIR...

Its under new management and the place has gone up. Looks bright and clean and welcoming .I onlyordered drinks and had few games of pool so cant comment on foods. It has a large space, lots of parking space, plans for revamping the massive beer garden. Had a lovely chat with the new owner Dave and he has lots of plans for this pub. 2 excellent pool tables and a neat space for it. Popped in here for some lunch. They aren't doing food yet but are in the process of upgrading the pub and updating the kitchen for food. The staff there were so friendly, the guiness is superb and the pool tables are fab. So if you want a pint and a game of pool, I'm not sure you'd find a friendlier pub to do that in.
