Great place for lunch or breakfast. Pleasant atmosphere, with quick service and friendly owner. English breakfast set menus and sandwiches are spot on. Portions are very generous. My personal favourite is chicken escalope with mashed potatoes and salad. Escalope is always crispy on the outside and juicy inside, coating stays on the meat. I don't recommend unorthodox options from the menu like liver or spaghetti carbonara. Both options were underwhelming. In my humble opinion it is the best cafeteria that serves full english breakfast in the neighborhood.

My favourite thing to do on a Saturday morning is visit the street food market in Lloyd Park. There are dozens of stalls selling a huge array of global dishes, from chai to empanadas. I then realise to my horror that even a small wrap is £12 so I head to Tommy's instead, where I get a huge sausage and egg baguette for a fiver. Tommy's is probably my favourite Walthamstow cafe. It's cheap (although not as cheap as it once was), the food is great and there's a nice view of the park opposite. Oh, and the kids meals are huge. What's not to love?

I am regular customer as they alway provide a good portions and quality products, I have tried other cafes around this area, but Tommy is the best and I always come back there and enjoy it everytime.

A truly excellent local café of the greasy spoon type, and one of the best of these. Clean, friendly, good value and excellent portions promptly served means a repeat visit will come sooner, not later. I had a full English breakfast from a wide choice on the menu, and they allowed me to substitute my favourite tinned tomatoes for the baked beans specified. The coffee was a bit weak, but as it was after 3pm, I don't want it at my usual morning strength, and it was preferable to the tea. That is the sadly usual teabag in a mug, a sad indictment of modern times. Tea should be made in a pot, but those who insist on that are now in the minority. I blame mini-Holland, or at least the...
