I recently visited Walthamstow Market in East London and had a great experience. As one of the longest street markets, it offers a lively and vibrant atmosphere. The market is incredibly diverse, with a wide range of stalls selling everything from fresh produce and meats to clothing, household items, and unique trinkets. The variety of food options is impressive, with many street food vendors offering delicious international dishes. I particularly enjoyed the array of fresh fruits and vegetables at the produce stalls, all at reasonable prices.

The market has a fantastic energy, with friendly vendors and plenty of hustle and bustle. I appreciated the variety of goods available, whether you're looking for everyday items or something more unusual. Its location in the heart of Walthamstow makes it incredibly convenient, and the surrounding area offers plenty of cafes and shops to explore afterward.

The overall vibe of Walthamstow Market is welcoming, with a diverse crowd and a strong sense of community. It’s a fantastic place to spend a few hours, whether you’re doing your weekly shopping or just exploring. This market is definitely worth a visit, and I’d highly recommend it for both locals and visitors looking for an authentic taste of Walthamstow’s...

My favourite winter soup will eating at itee island a half caste guy come in the restaurant talking to himselves of cause he not well. And the manages look at me next to him. Worry he bored me. And the manages tell him to go out. I say to the manager it's alright and the manager call him back and stand at a side will the staffs serving customer after they server all the customers the manager give the guy a cup of soup to take home free. I'm so please to see the compassion in the community. And I only eat at small restaurants not about its cheap in fact is healthy and better service and all the restaurants. The fact, you don't get this kind of service is a 5 star restaurant and unhealthy food. And every restaurant I when back the second time its doesn't matter where in London. they remember me. Maybe is my hat. Lol.

I only support smaller business...

A great place to visit for locals and visitors alike - who want an experience off the tourist beat. The market is the longest market in Europe and hosts an array of different stalls - fresh food and veg, clothes, second hand items and street food. The place is extremely diverse, you can tell from the different food stalls along the market - from turkish cuisines, authentic asian food and jamaican. Saturdays are the main day for the market. There are local stores along the side of the market street - from Polish groceries/restaurants, turkish cafes, high street brands; the market also has an indoor Mall - with all the high street stores and a fast food restaurant area. Great market. Lots of stalls and speciality shops to cater for all tastes. It's the only place where I've been able to buy Tapioca Starch and Gum Arabic from the same store. We walked down to the Market Cafe which is like a shrine to Princess Diana. Lots of pictures of her on the walls. Had a very substantial meal at a reasonable price. Highly recommended. Currently there is lots of building going on which means the Mall Car Park has been altered and is a bit confusing with the new layout and payment schemes. The market is well worth a visit though.
