Woody Kebab Hounslow — Restaurant in London

We were very surprised because usually Wood Kebab is very good and I left many 5 stars reviews in Just Eat, but our order yesterday was disastrous, as soon as we started eating the mixed doner we found a big 'green bottle fly' engraved in the chicken meat.

I believe that the fly was pressed into the meat during the process of making the whole kebab piece which makes me concerned about the whole piece being contaminated and served to other customers too, not only the small portion served to us. To avoid food poisoning I had to dispose of our meal.

Woody Kebab should take their precautions when purchasing or manufacturing the main kebab piece because green flies are present on dirty environments with lack of a hygiene policy.

Also, the salad in the falafel wrap was soggy and the wrap bread was paper dry and a kind of messy to split into two halves. Not our lucky day I guess... The delivery was polite and fast though.

P.S. The review that I left on Just Eat yesterday was erased by a censorship, I guess. Hope this one doesn't get wiped off...

I always pass by this place due to the H91 bus but never stopped to get food.

On Saturday, I did. I dont know where to put a finger, as to why I liked going there but I shall try to describe to the best I can.

The food was perfect.

I ordered chicken shish and hummus with pita. Both of them were done quickly and perfectly cooked with great taste and everything else that comes with it was also nice and fresh.

Usually, I avoid all kebab shops because they end up cooking the meat over or under, plus the takeaway packing is so sloppy.

I will definitely try to pick up kebabs from here and try more of their menu.

Staff was nice the day I went. Usually, I find kebab shop people, involved in their own chit chat and are some reason angry young man representations. They were warm to all customers, not just me. I went at the time when they were all on their rozas(the staff) and they were waiting for iftar (fast breaking of roza). Considering this, they were still doing their jobs well and were smiling. For the first time I'm putting a negative feedback against any restaurant. I am just sharing my experience with others to aware them only. We ordered Chicken Shish in Woody Kebab which is in their "Woody's Special" menu.

Just after the meal was served, we discovered an "Insect" moving on the food slowly. We showed them the insect on the food and they took our plate back but they didn't though the meal in the garbage. They just put back the chicken on the burner again to sell it to someone else. They replaced our food but we lost our appetite already. Woody kebab can decline this incident.
