The Black Horse — Restaurant in London

This is an excellent pub where the interior is very spacious and is very comfortable to enjoy a social occasion. Since this pub is located near to a main road in Hounslow, I found that this pub is very convenient to take a break from a car journey and I was there to take a break after driving from Reading. There are television sets available for the attenders to watch live football matches. The selection of beers and other drinks are vast, in addition a large menu for food is on display at the bar. There is a beer garden adjacent to the pub where a wooden shelter is available for smokers as well as for customers who wish to consume food and drink away from the interior of the pub. This pub garden is ideal for the summer weather. In addition, there is a car park adjacent to the for customers to park their vehicles conveniently. The Wi-Fi system available here has an excellent signal and the Wi-Fi password is on display near the bar. The Wi-Fi is very secured with the password and is very useful for any customer who brings larger electronic devices such as an ipad, a tablet or even a laptop. I noticed that one customer brought a laptop with him and was operating his device with a lot of comfort at the spacious table while consuming his drink. This is the first time I have entered this pub. The pub appears to be very safe and trouble free by my first impression since I noticed that the attenders are very cheerful, relaxed, friendly and social. I have not consumed any of the selection of beers in this pub since I had only ordered a cup of tea during a break from my car journey, however I noticed that the selection of beers is excellent and will satisfy the customers' demand. I will come into this pub again...

First and last time I'll visit this place. Eastern European lady who was serving was unwelcoming and really rude. No please, thank you. Nothing. Really had an attitude about her. She really didn't want to be there.

Also, we were asked to complete our names and telephone numbers on a piece of paper, which is fine. But other establishments do this for you. I didn't want to be touching the pen or paper after many before me had their hands all over it. Felt completely unsafe. On top of that, the lady kept looking at us. Very uncomfortable.

(We visited early in the day and I can see from other reviews people have had bad bad experiences with this lady. Management, if you're reading this you really should take action to prevent yourself from losing...

A great find for sure. The cook is Toni who is from Nairobi, Kenya. The place is two separate business's. The bar and restaurant are owned by two different owners so you have to pay separately.

The bar staff are excellent and always ready to serve. Very large selection of drinks so easy to satisfy most people.

The restaurant orders are taken to the left of the bar. The food selection is excellent and the food itself is very good. If I'm honest, the seekh kebabs could do with a bit of work. The staff serving the food are OK. They are not proficient in English so struggle to understand orders. But you can muddle through so no big deal.

Overall, a very good place to visit for a great meal and drinks.
