Zavi Restaurant — Restaurant in London

Our very first visit to Zavi's restaurant, overall very good first impressions and experience. The food we had very good of the three main course we all enjoyed. The Cocktail drinks here of worthy mention, I personally love the Pina Colada cocktail, served in a good generous size glass. My own starter warm and delicious - Pacific prawns with basmati rice. My main a whole sea bass served with salad and extra side dishes to add - red chilli sauce, garlic sauce, chips. All cooked well and certainly filled my appetite. The sweet, 'CHOCOLATE ORANGE BRULEE' was a 'REAL DELIGHT,' and I recommend anyone who enjoys a good sweet then this dish I rate to finish off with a coffee ( mine was a coffee floater) of their own choice. A modern, spacious, airy, linear style restaurant with a very vibrant atmosphere with good music to suit of modern taste. We visited here early evening on a Saturday on a sunny Saturday evening 14/8/21 and I noticed very popular here attracting a younger clientele, especially good here for sizeable celebrating groups of folk - whatever your joy and celebration! However, here at Zavi's they cater for all, definitely worth a return visit but maybe on a slightly more relaxed evening weekday. The only slight drawback here experienced is that we had a slightly restricted stay time here due to the very busy incoming bookings. Understandably from the owner's business view of probably making lost time during the pandemic. I personally thank the very kind, efficient welcoming friendly staff for their hospitality. On the 25th March in the evening I alongside others went to celebrate a friends birthday. I am quite appalled at the way one of the guests were treated and berated by a member of the waiting staff.

I have done a few google reviews with thousands of views. Unfortunately this is a place I cannot recommend.

The manager did not take care of the person well and she was accused of trying to skip out on a meal after she travelled a long distance away and needed to get home safe.

This restaurant though their food was actually good, I had the salmon and mash other members of my party said it was okay.

It was just an unfortunate and unforgettable incident and I and my friends of over 15 will not be returning.

Perhaps they are good for one or two people but seem to be inadequate in handling a large party.

I have worked in customer service for over 15 years and this treatment was reprehensible.

I recommend retraining waiting staff. There was also lack of communication with paying the gratuity and other members of party ended up shouldering the burden which wasn’t an issue. I hope the manager takes this on board.

I do not recommend this place.

Lovely setting, very clean with nice table linens and elegant. Enjoyed to background music immensely. The wait for service could be better as it took a while to get out entire drink orders and to get meal ordered. We again waited for the meal to arrive, however I must say that it was worth the wait. The meals came out simultaneously and the food was hot. The presentation was excellent and the flavour to die for. I had the lamb shank which fell off the bone and was melt in your mouth soft. My sister had the Sea bass and it's skeleton was all that remained on the plate!! Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and the cocktails were good too!! The staff were pleasant and helpful and we were there celebrating a birthday and they came to the table with the cake and played happy birthday on the music system. All in all it was a lovely night. Parking is a bit awkward. There is a small area behind the restaurant but it looked dodgy at night so we parked on the road just around the corner from the restaurant. There prices were reasonable and you definitely got bang for your buck in terms of portion size and quality of food!!
