Wingos - Maidstone — Restaurant in Maidstone

Where to start. On a boring winters day in winter, I was very hungry, so as usual the idea of food pops into my intellgent brain and my fingers begin tapping on justeat. The ordering process was so complicated I could have ordered a lighty cooked, medium rare, oven baked, multicoloured chicken nugget. But obviously I didn't because that would be foul. Anyway 20 minutes later, the food was ordered and being baked, shaped, sizzled and hopefully cooked. But what really angered my appetite, was how long it took to deliver. It lead me to think the travel arrangements was being lead by a camel, that took the long way round through the Scottish highlands! because the grub took 1 hour and a half to get to my plate. Why?

Onto what it actually taste like, so the burger was OK. I would say I found the packaging more attractive than the burger. The chips though! They looked like chips, but nearly burned a hole in my throat. That is not what I would call lightly seasoned fries. So to conclude, wingo would be better off targeting the chimps at Whipsnade zoo. Because that was an utterly horrid meal! Thank you...

Had delivery yesterday, chicken burger meal was missing, delivery man didn’t informed me about some food missing, obviously didn’t offer refund me for it as well so I take it as a rip off try. Then I called Wingos to let them know about it, hoping that they will sort it out, but they just promised me some free chicken on the next day, because they had nothing else left ( ???? ) So as I was told, I called them today to claim it, worker who answered is not the same one I talk with another day, after I explained everything they said that I need to contact just-eat as I was ordering through them website ( like they are the ones who prepares food for delivery ????!!!!) So now I’m calling to just-eat, wasting my time, trying to prove (seriously?!?!?!?) what happened and after all that they said that they going to refund me amount of missing food price, which I will get in next 2-3 working days (?????) Result seems to be astonishing no food and no money. Embarrassing,...

It's almost like they don't know how to run a business. I received their leaflet with my delivery from tops pizza, so I thought that they must offer the same service.

They offer free delivery which is great, but can't deliver. I offered to pay for delivery and even meet them just outside of Maidstone to avoid the traffic, but they don't have the drivers.

This chap apparently "searched my postcode" to confirm he couldn't deliver and then suggested I call the Basildon office, as they may be able to deliver. I live about 10 miles outside of Maidstone, so I highly doubt that Basildon drivers will be more willing than the Maidstone drivers.

I then said I would collect the food, he told me that Id have to pay by card and can't take my order until I have given my card details.

I gave 2 stars, as he at least called me sir... But I'd rather eat dry toast and speak to...
