Tops Pizza Maidstone — Restaurant in Maidstone

Food delivered half an hour late so pizza was cold. We heard the driver asking a neighbour if they were number xx (our door number), so my husband went out to look for him and direct him to the correct house but he’d disappeared. Hubby then saw a neighbour go indoors with some food and turn their house lights off. We rang Tops and they said they’d call the driver. They said they couldn’t get hold of him but will call us when they do. So I told him to ask the driver if he’d delivered to the end house and if so he’d delivered to the wrong address. They said that if our neighbour had been dishonest and taken it they’d replace it. Soon after the driver turned up with the food and denied delivering it to our neighbour, but the seal had been broken on the pizza box and there was no dip or little plastic thing that goes in the middle. We rang the shop to query this and they denied that the driver had delivered to our neighbour too but said the seal had been broken in the shop to check it. Not hygienic if that’s the case, plus where’s the missing dip etc. Not...

Before tonight I would have happily recommended your food to anyone. But not anymore... Stuffed Crust Pizza, Wedges and Garlic Bread for Delivery sounds like a meal that surely no one could get wrong.. The pizza was a mess with a hint of Brown being the main colour.. It looked unappealing when the box was opened it was even worse when trying to get it out of the box.. It hadn't been cut through cleanly out came the scissors as I was expecting it to be hot as usual but sadly no it was barely luke warm. My plate was hotter.. The wedges although they looked good they were also nearly cold. Lastly the Garlic Bread.. This was a first for us thanks to the 'Black Friday' offer.. And it will definately be a last.. 4 small rounds of cold that looked very lost in the box designed for them.. Would love to know how your company could justify the full price that we would have paid if not for the offer... After a long week we decided to treat ourselves to our favourite pizza takeaway .Admittedly our order a few months previously was of a much lower standard than in the past but thought it was a one off. Sadly not the case .Our order arrived an hour early ,it was over cooked and some of the ingredients were missing, very disappointing. An hour early is no good when you’ve not long been in from work and are about to relax and freshen up.The pizzas were much smaller than they used to be and the toppings minimal I rang to complain and was offered 30% discount on my next order. Sadly there won’t be a next order ,not for the price ,even with the discount, still not worth the money. I have always recommended Tops pizza to friends and family, they did used to be the best pizza around and delivery was always close to time .
