An Authentic Taste of Peshawar in the Heart of Manchester! A genuine Pashtun culinary experience, Abaseen in Cheetham Hill is the real deal. This is not your average kebab shop; this is a place dedicated to authentic, traditional flavour. The star of the show was the Peshawari Chapli Kebab. It was absolutely perfect – wonderfully spiced, with a fantastic texture that was both succulent and slightly crisp at the edges. You could taste the authenticity in every bite, especially with the traditional touch of Naraj which gave it that classic, tangy finish. It was served with a massive, fluffy naan that was freshly baked to order. Pulling apart the warm, soft bread made the experience even better and it was the perfect vehicle for the delicious kebab. To round off the perfect meal, I had the Dhoodpati Chai. It was rich, creamy, and aromatic the ultimate comfort in a cup and the most authentic way to finish such a fantastic meal. Abaseen Cheetham Hill has had a makeover for the better.

We ordered the Kebab Karahi which came with 2 Nan, salad and sauce, all for only £15.00 (This is a deal they have on the menu)

Karahi tasted great, Nan were excellent along with the presentation which was very good, and the staff was excellent too.

They have a good selection to choose from, whether it be Namak Mandi Karahi, Chicken Karahi, Malai Boti, Chapali Kebab etc

They have a menu to cater for the young and old, so give it a go with friends and family.

The shop was super clean, which isn't how I remember it from before, plenty of seating aswell as room upstairs if you decide sit on their newly laid carpet.

All in all it was good value for money and I recommend you try Abaseen Cheetham Hill
