This Tesco is definitely the worst I have ever been to. Customer service is so unhelpful. I checked out at the till. The cashier didn't scan my clubcard even though i had my clubcard in my hand he said its been going through but after paying i realized it hasn't been scanned i wasn't surprised because he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing at all then i head to customer service to scan that again and get my refund . Wow, i faced a long queue with only one worker who wasn't the fastest and she definitely needed someone to help. Finally after half an hour when it was my turn i found a member of staff in front of me scanning her own shopping when i asked why she was scanning her items without waiting in the queue she said im only a customer with tesco uniform on...!!! I asked for duty manager to talk to . A young lady turned up after a while sayin she was only a regular member of staff but every other staff been saying she was the duty manager. She basically ignored me even when i acknowledged my experience and didn't give me more info when i asked who is the supervisor that i can complain to. Then Tesco staff started shouting at the customers who was complaining like me . They were extremely rude and unapproachable. Im going to call Tesco customer service to chase this up because even the duty manager was unprofessional and rude to everyone complaining. I wished I had my phone recording...

I go every single week and spend over 150 pounds This week we had a problem with the scanner so we called over one of the workers Shr says to us what's is the problem we tell her that it's saying it can't scan the bardcode She says to us its not my problem I can't do anything you will need to call head office to sort this out and you will need to do shopping with out the scanner ( doing it with out a scanner you can't Budget your shopping) I come to pay i tell the cashier my problem with the bigging Snubbist face not my problem she says to me

went to customer service to try to solve this problem after telling thr customer service what happened She says to me don't be upset at me i didn't do anything I said I know and it's tesco problem. So y are you telling me what happened if I can't do anything about it

I went over I lost all my points and now I have to go back before 7 days so I can gey my points and money back So I'm losing time and money to go back

This is not the first time I had bad luck in tesco I think it's time to give all your staff a course in customer service And not just have staff that come to work and get...

I’ve been a loyal Tesco customer since the store opened in 2008, regularly spending thousands of pounds over the years. Sadly, my recent experience has left me feeling disrespected and disappointed.

On 30/05/25 at around 8:30pm, after spending over £200 on shopping, I was approached by an English lady staff member who checked through my bags to see if I had missed anything after I had already paid. This was completely unnecessary, embarrassing, and insulting especially given my history as a long-standing and loyal customer.

Tesco used to be a great place to shop, but the standards have clearly dropped. The behaviour I experienced tonight was judgmental and unprofessional, and it's unacceptable to treat regular, honest shoppers with such suspicion.

I hope Tesco takes this seriously, as no customer should be made to feel this way. Until there’s a real improvement in how people are treated, I’ll be reconsidering where I...

I had a very disappointing experience at the Tesco Cheetham Hill branch. While using the self-service checkout, I had trouble scanning my Clubcard due to the privacy screen on my phone. I asked a staff member named Richard for help, but instead of assisting me, he simply said, “I can’t help you at all—you’ll have to keep trying and it might work eventually.” As a result, I was left standing there for around five minutes repeatedly trying to scan my Clubcard, with no support offered. His dismissive attitude and unwillingness to help were frustrating and unacceptable. I expect better customer service from Tesco, and based on this visit, I would rate the experience zero stars if that were possible. Very disappointing. ⸻ Let me know if you’d like to shorten or adapt it for Google, Trustpilot, or another platform.

Sunday is supposed to be close at 17:00PM I came at 16:49 and I needed just biscuits for my cats nothing else. The security guy was in front of the door and didn’t let me get in to the store. Also there was another person next to me who needs the emergency medicine from pharmacy but he also couldn’t buy the medicine. This is so disrespectful and rude behaviour. You can’t put the time online and then do whatever you want and treat to the regular customer like a animal. I’m so disappointed

If it isn't the staff in here,it is the actual place. It's filthy and has rats. Many a time overheard the Asian staff talking in Urdu insulting customers. The bakery can't even bake the bread properly Beggars outside harrasing you for spare change,it's like going in a bad episode of Shameless while off your head watching Jeremy Kyle. Asda or Morrisons please take over and get some decent staff in who will actually be greatful for a job there.
