absolutely terrible place.

first a member of staff the skinny man with the beard. quite a disgusting man. you will not meet a more uneducated, vile, arrogant, and condescending man. i was waiting in line and a young British lady was in front of me trying to make a large order. she was unsure of some of the items such as drinks and chips that came with some meals, and was served by this member of staff. he tried to make things as hard as possible for this lady, was constantly condescending to her, and even though she was bubbly and polite he was always rude back. there were 2 other members of staff there, and you could tell they were also uncomfortable with this man's behaviour. they kept looking over and looking away embarrassed. one was a skinny man clean shaven another was a fatter man in the back. all in their 40's-50's. the arrogance of this man shows his lack of education. the food. again disgusting. the chips. i waited 10 mins for a kebab. all this time there were chips in the tray getting cold, that had already been cooked. after my kebab was wrapped i was given these same chips. i asked if they would be cold now and was told they won't be and they were wrapped and put away before anything else could be said. there are other reviews about this man's behaviour and the chips served and i have to say they are right. the kebab meat was cold and very fatty, the wrap is NOT a nan. it is a thin asda smart price tortilla type wrap. the food could be fixed with some effort of actually trying to produce good food. the issue is the man who is probably the owner/manager. he aims to hurt people, and has no care if the food is good or not. i think it is is a form of racism to British people, the man is an Arab immigrant and has a superiority complex against others. this is merely a sign of his own lack of education, especially needing to bully a female customer who was trying to work out what she needed to order.

absolutely vile.

they are the miserly ones who turn the donner heater off. so when u walk in and order one they turn it on for 5 mins, shave it and serve it to you.

it's lukewarm at best, and just full of chewy greasy cold fat that hasn't dripped away.

like someone else mentioned., chips are cooked a long time before served. simply dumped in the fryer again for 2 mins to 'reheat' and then served to you as fresh.

the owners are miserly. they know they serve bad food, but do so intentionally and with a laugh. this is because they feel caucasians in this country will eat any 'trash', especially if drunk.

Bias account: First had my double peri burger delight in 2011, have been going ever since. The Peri chicken outclasses NEARLY every other Peri Peri chain chain in Manchester bar Rochdale's Chunky Chicken & Nandos. The portion size is a real manly portion. Pizza is surprisingly amazing from here. Chips, nuggets, wings & other fried derivatives are spot on. Never had a calzone. Salad price is a joke. Certain staff are friendly. Can be delays on order due to the amount of people ordering. Can eat inside with around 15 people there. I wouldn't say it's a place you would travel for an out of towner like me going to International in Rochdale, Steak bus/plane in Bolton, Big Moes in London, Bumbas grill in Rossendale or JUNAIDS in Birmingham! However, if you are in Manchester, it is a must. Thumbs up for Drumstick for applying manly grilled portions...

Absolutely disgusting. We ordered 2 peri peri chicken burger meals. We were unable to even pick up the burgers because they were swimming in grease and water in the tray, the 'peri peri' rice was just a cheap golden rice half cooked and hard in a small tub and the chips were cold. The bottom of the barm was a soggy mess and when we contacted drumstick they said it was just sauce. While I was complaining the person I spoke to asked 'what do you expect us to do?' so I said what would you normally do in these situations and he replied 'well I'd send you another but you'll only moan about that!' complete waste of £20 and the customer service was just as terrible...
