Forty Three — Restaurant in Manchester

BEWARE. We placed an order, received a call shortly after to advise that 2 of the items were unavailable and that we would be refunded for them, which was fine. The order arrived 1.5 hours later and was cold, we attempted to refuse the delivery at the door, but the driver wouldn't let us and said he would get in trouble. We called and spoke to the takeaway who advised that they would refund the order, then called back to request to pick the food up, but we had gone to bed. We've called since and been advised that a refund will not be given, as we accepted the food, but we were forced to. Totally unacceptable, this will be the first and last time we order from here. I use to love this place, then he closed down for for a few months opened back up with with new menu(after a lengthy delay) been trying for over a month now to go there and every time closed.

I went today tried a new item off the menu, I wanted the steak and chips but they sold out of steak, so went for the Mexican rice bowl with chicken.

To say the least I was extremely disappointed with this, the rice taste like uncle Ben's microwave Mexican rice the chicken was bland and the salad was awful. I also order a usually item aswel the zinger burger no faults with the burger. But that rice bowl I wouldn't recommend buying this it was awful and at a high cost for £8 for such poor...

I’ve had a few incidents with this place, the food is usually nice although I do only get kebab which is hit or miss as sometime it’s a different meat and taste like cinnamon, there is a nice man in there who usually does deliveries & isn’t always in, the main worker is rude. Doesn’t refund ALWAYS makes a mistake on my order (at this point I’m sure it’s on purpose) the first time I requested a refund he tried to give me less. I watched him burn my order n try to give it me at first not knowing it was for me he thought it was a delivery. Definitely check your order before you take it or receive it.
