Greggs — Restaurant in Manchester

Turned up to find closed due to refit, not sure when opening date is. Hopefully soon, I pick up a sandwich and a hot chocolate for lunch to take out. Only complaint is the red onions are usually soggy, so take them off. Staff friendly, only down side of getting 5* is the delivery orders seem to come first when you're stood in the queue, but love the hot choccie!!! Staff are pleasant and friendly! UPDATE: (July 2025) Shop has opened again, entering it looked more like an O.A.P Club, all seating inside and out was O.A.P.S narrow entrance due to electric scooters parked, had to go around them to get into shop. Why is there no glass at the back of the food cabinets to stop flies crawling all over the food? I have been in so many times, seen a blue bottle fly rubbing it's legs on the donuts and walked straight back out again. It's so unhygienic. The staff here are amazing though and always friendly and professional. My only problem with Greggs as a whole is how the flies can just rub themselves all over the food because they aren't fully closed off on all sides. It's just the front to stop customers...

Visited here on Saturday. Ordered a pasty a sausage roll. And an egg mayo sandwich. The young lads behind the counter were that busyTaking the P out of a lady who clearly had special needs. The food was disgusting. Bread on the sandwich was rock hard. Pasty and sausage roll cold and the outside table we sat at was filthy. I had to clean it with tissue before we could use it. Never again will...
