I go here really often. Today I went and there was an issue with my card, the payment wouldn't go through, it was bringing up some random new issues. I was planning to buy 2 of the cheese & onion bakery things cuz I'm full on addicted to them. I was trying to pay and tried about 4 times. I was like sorry bro nevermind as I gave up, and was waiting for my friend to pay for his food. Then as I was about to leave, the cashier just said "take this" and handed me one of the cheese and onions. I was so happy, I didn't know how to thank him. This place was a treat when shopping in Wythenshaw, and I understand with the cost of living would be the reason for the prices not being a pound any more, however, why has the fillings of their sausage rolls and Cornish pasties halved at the cost of £2.15. It's not terrible. Whenever I make the long trip to Manchester, I go to Pound Bakery for an economical breakfast or snack. Six years ago, it was great. 20 chicken nuggets for, I think it was 4 pounds. That's unheard of in Canada, and the chicken nuggets were really tasty. There was always a variety of pastries.
