Lounge About — Restaurant in Manchester

I have recently moved to the area and wanted to try a few local bars. We went to the lounge about and the service was awful! The attitude that the woman behind the bar had was unacceptable she came over and asked for Id - which I understand is her job but when presented to her she started shouting and embarrassed us all shouting ‘it’s not my job to come and ask for your Id why didn’t you come to the bar and show me it.’ Once she had gone one of the locals turned round and reassured us that it is actually a nice bar but you ‘just have to show your face a few times’ insinuating that the bar staff was being so rude because we hadn’t been there before. I then waited over 30 minutes for my cocktail when all my other friends was on there second drink we waited a bit longer and my boyfriend went up to the bar to ask about it when she rudely pushed past him with bin bags in her hand shouting ‘do I look ready’ ‘ i will bring them over when I am ready not when you are ready’ again embarrassing us all and uattracting attention to our table. I think the service in here was a terrible experience and I will never go here again and will be telling people to avoid this bar at all cost when you are treated like complete outsiders and spoke to so...

A welcome oasis of real ale in Northenden. Been to this micro bar a few times since it opened. Two hand pumps serve a changing selection of real ales. Casta had a bitter by Pomona Island. A very dark bitter and really refreshing 4.1% ale. Two good sized rooms and a large rear beer garden. Always found it a friendly bar. A lot of TV's for the footie fans. Casta also tried Wainwright Gold. Another good pint. Good selection of fizzy...

Great little spot with an excellent beer garden to the rear.

Friendly staff and a good selection of beers, wine & spirits.

The beer garden to the rear of the building is an amazing place to catch live music performances.

The atmosphere in this little gem of a pub is incredible, in particular the locals make it an exceptionally welcoming experience.

15out of 10, would definitely go out my way to go back here time...
