We turned up on a Sunday evening on a recommendation from a friend to try this new spot on Palatine Road and it was the best decision we made today.

This family run restaurant was everything you expected and even more from not only the taste, but the presentation and service from the staff.

The Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings were so good, I wish I ordered some more to take home as a naughty midnight snack.

The Papaya Salad was really nice, sweet and refreshing, I can literally eat salad with all my meals after that.

The Summer Rolls (prawn) was delicious, fully compact and went down so well with the sauce I was licking my lips.

I also got the Bun Bo Hue (Beef) - noodle soup which was such a treat, it was hearty, fulfilling and full of flavour, I drank the whole bowl of soup down.

My fiancée has travelled the world for over 10 years and extensively in Vietnam and she said that we must get the Bahn Xeo (Crispy savoury pancake) - chicken as it’s the first place she’s seen it served in the UK, she usually lets me finish off the last bite of whatever dish we order as I’m a big lad and I love my food, but this time she finished it off and even told me to my face exactly what she was going to do.

At the end of the meal we both sat there with empty plates, we cleaned up absolutely everything.

It was such a good shout, we will be coming back...

What started as a typical Sunday evening turned into a delightful surprise!

The Bhan Xeo was the first thing that caught my eye, and it didn’t disappoint. This authentic Vietnamese dish—a crispy egg crepe filled with fresh vegetables and complemented by their homemade fish sauce—is something I’ve never seen offered outside of Vietnam. It was pure Vietnamese food heaven.

The Salt and Pepper Wings were a revelation. Uniquely flavorful and perfectly fried, they had none of the extra grease you often find elsewhere.

The Summer Rolls, paired with a to-die-for peanut sauce, were the perfect light starter. I could easily have devoured ten of them!

The Papaya Salad was another standout—refreshing and light, it cleared my palate perfectly for the next dish.

We also tried the Bun Bo Hue (Beef Noodles). The broth was incredibly tasty, and the beef was tender and flavorful. I didn’t even take a photo—I was too eager to dive in!

Oh My Pho is definitely becoming my top go-to restaurant. With food this authentic and delicious, I don’t feel bad indulging in these traditional Vietnamese dishes—they’re healthy too! Highly...

Lovely food, great place, good service.

I was a little disappointed with where we were sat. We were in the back room and I felt like we worked there as we were next to the kitchen door, near the pot washing area and near the toilets. We had booked on Tuesday and came on Friday so would hope that time would have secured a better spot.

Minor thing but they said they would bring the food out when it was ready which is fine but strangely, got 1 starter which we shared, my girlfriend's main then turned up and a good few mins later my main turned up. Then our other starter turned up. Not the end of the world but not ideal.

I'll end on an a positive, really want to stress that the food is great and the staff are really lovely. Value for money was great as well. 2 starters, 2 mains and 4 bottles of beer...

lovely little space for hearty and authentic vietnamese food. had the bun bo hue, bahn xeo and thit nuog. exceptional food and all paired with fresh veggies. bun bo hue was flavourful and warmed me up on the rainy day, beed was tender and cooked to perfection. bahn xeo was crispy and was filled with prawns and beansprouts. thit nuong with the pork was good too. served with the sauce it was an exceptionally tasteful. staff there was great and attentive. would definitely go there again to try their other dishes. was told the menu would revamp to include other vietnamese dishes so cant wait to try!
