McDonald’s is one of those iconic places that almost everyone has a story or memory tied to, whether it’s grabbing a quick breakfast on a busy morning, indulging in late-night fries with friends, or making an impromptu pit stop during a road trip. This particular location delivered that familiar comfort food experience with a few standouts—and a few drawbacks.
Food: The menu is what you’d expect, which is both a comfort and a limitation. The classics—Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, McNuggets, and fries—are consistently satisfying. The fries were hot, crispy, and perfectly salted, which is always a win. The burger was fresh, with the signature tangy sauce that keeps people coming back. I tried one of the newer items on the menu (the Spicy McCrispy), and was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and well-seasoned it was. The bun was soft and lightly toasted, and the chicken had a good crunch.
Breakfast options also deserve praise—McDonald’s still does one of the best fast food hash browns out there. Coffee is decent for the price, and the McCafé options are a solid upgrade from what you might expect at a fast food chain.
Service: Staff were friendly and efficient. I used both the self-order kiosk and the front counter, and both experiences were smooth. My order was accurate, and the wait time was reasonable—around 5 minutes during a fairly busy lunch hour. I appreciate how much the staff seemed to hustle during peak hours without losing their composure or customer service edge.
Cleanliness & Atmosphere: The dining area was reasonably clean, with tables being wiped down regularly. The interior had been renovated recently (or well-maintained), giving it a brighter, more modern feel. The bathrooms were cleaner than I expected, though they could have used a restock of paper towels.
One area for improvement: the trash bins were nearly overflowing, which detracted a bit from the otherwise neat environment. Hopefully just a timing issue and not the norm.
Value: McDonald’s continues to offer good value, especially if you use the app deals or combo options. For a quick meal under $10, it’s hard to beat the reliability and portion sizes here. It’s not gourmet, but it doesn’t pretend to be—and that’s part of its appeal.
Final Thoughts: This McDonald’s location gets it mostly right: fast, familiar, and flavorful. It’s not perfect, but it hits the mark for what a fast food experience should be. Whether you’re popping in for a quick snack, breakfast on the go, or a casual meal with friends or family, it delivers that nostalgic mix of taste...
Read moreI Made An Order Via Just Eat, I Instantly Noticed That I Had Ordered Something Containing One Of My Allergens. I then rang the store immediately to let them know but was declined a phone call, then another and then another, in total i phoned 24 times and Was still ignored. In the meantime I had been in contact with Uber eats who notified me that the only people to cancel and change the order was You Guys! Phoning McDonald’s Is The Only Way To Change Something In Your Order. I Also Know This As I Previously Have Done The Same Thing It’s Easy To Forget When Your Having Fun And Eating McDonald’s Is Usually One Of Them Fun Things.
Any Way By This Point My order has been picked up! I instantly message the courier to explain and he tells me he isn’t interested it’s nothing to do with him fair enough. But then again Uber has advised me to do this. I finally received my order knowing fine well I would be able to eat it. So I tried one last time and I finally got through to the store. I was greeted on the phone by an older male who proceeded to laugh at me and tell me it wasn’t his fault. So I explained how many times I called Etc and the procedures of what Uber advise when this kind of thing happens. He told me I’m a liar and that Uber are fully responsible. I explained that I had already been in contact with them and hold the hard copy of evidence where they state that McDonald’s can only rectify this and he proceed to tell me I’m stupid for ordering without checking Etc, which I probably am but I realised this instantly and no matter what I was going to say they would blame me although I tried to rectify my mistake straight away and completed everything I should of. It takes 2 minutes to answer a phone, I don’t care whether it’s being carried by a delivery company or not. I have my own business and from experience know for a fine well fact a store can cancel and control anything. It just takes a little communication and with the knowledge of the staff from what I heard, communication isn’t something these guys are familiar with unfortunately, I’m incredibly distressed by the situation and would no recommend this branch at all 😢 so many more friendly stores to...
Read moreHello friends, I'm here to tell you about my traumatic experience at this McDonald's. I was driving to this horrible franchise with my 3 friends and one of them is an employee at this store. We came through the drive thru expecting extremely quick and speedy service. We was HORRIBLY mistaken. The RUDE employee in drive thru took 4 PAYMENTS before taking our order which is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!
When taking our order we let her know about our employee benefits and she then told us we had to order through the app even though it was not working AND we had an employee in the car. She then continued with her attitude as she took our order. When we got to the next window she proceeded to take 2 MORE ORDERS before taking our payment. When arriving at the last window there was no greetings. The service was HORRIBLE! It took 10 minutes for our food. Is this how they treat employees!?
WOW I feel bad for customers in the local area! When driving off with our food we noticed something HORRIBLY wrong.... and it struck us deep to our cores. When opening the packaged bag of food we noticed that our wrap of the day (only ketchup) was missing. We was traumatised and we HAD to go back. When arriving back to the franchise we noticed both managers were smoking outside and not controlling their reckless staff. My BEST FRIEND went to the window to retrieve the missing goods. After he has received the missing goods, we got back into the white Toyota Yaris 2014, and drove off into the sunset, we came to a shocking realisation... My extremely kind, lovely and handsome Muslim friend came to the shocking realisation that his wrap of the day only ketchup included bacon (which is HARAM!), lettuce and BBQ sauce.
At this point, we accepted defeat and drove home with hearts half the size :( as they was before. WE DO NOT recommend this McDonald's to ANYBODY. We also had frape problems but that's long to explain icl just...
