McDonald's — Restaurant in Manchester

20 mins to get a burger, bad attitude from staff, given the wrong, burger was stale, and the queuing system was designed very poorly. The staff are terribly slow and drag their feet. They have no sense of friendly customer service. Once they took my order they just looked past me and shouted for the next customer and I had to shift to the side to stand with a bunch of other clueless people wondering when and where our orders would appear. After 20 mins of waiting, I finally asked my server what was taking so long and he didn't recognise Me or my order (despite only service about 3 other customers in that time). I told him what I ordered and he blamed me for not collexying it when he called it out. I was watching him the whole time and he never did. No apology, no smile, just grabbed the first burger off the shelf that had been sitting there for who knows how long. I sat down to eat and it was the wrong burger and stale! I couldn't be bothered to go back and argue for what I ordered.

The queuing method here spoils it. You give your order and then the person who's taken it usually just turns away from you to serve someone else without saying a word, leaving you standing there feeling like you're in everyone's way, and not really knowing what to do. The staff are usually pretty rude and there's been a couple of times where I've felt a little bit like I've had the food thrown at me rather than served it. I only go for the convenience now, and usually just stick to the coffee. Saying that, Manchester Arndale's Food court is a good venue with plenty of tables so you can get seating at the busiest times and there's some good views out of the windows. I went Sunday 29/09/2024 morning for breakfast and I notice they never smile. Also while I was in front of one of the windows to waiting for my order I saw a guy wipe his nose with his hand and arm and touch the food. While they were cooking I saw a cleaning girl put the bucket in the sink and fill it with hot water. I was served by the manager and while she was preparing my sandwich she wasn't even wearing gloves. She's ruined my day and I had to throw away my breakfast. What can I say? Dirty, disgusting and not professional at all and not friendly.I wonder how many other things they do while you customers aren't looking. I honestly wouldn't spend my money ingesting your employees' germs. I will definitely never go back...
