Munch Takeaway — Restaurant in Manchester

I revisited this takeaway hoping standards had improved, but unfortunately, the food was still unacceptable. The meal was undercooked (not even 50% fried), with burnt naan in some areas and undercooked in others. The chicken donner portion was very small, with hardly any meat, and the quality was extremely poor.

Even worse, my wife suffered food poisoning after eating here on 2024. I specifically asked if the food was cooked fresh and was assured it was, but clearly, it was not.

This was a waste of money, a health risk, and very disappointing. I will not return and strongly advise others to avoid this takeaw

Gave this place another chance but honestly, never again! Food was half-cooked, naan burnt in some spots and raw in others, and the donner portion was a joke – hardly any meat at all. Total waste of money.

To top it off, my wife got food poisoning on April 2025 after eating here 🤦‍♂️. Asked if the food was fresh, they said “YES” – obviously not!

Very, very disappointed. Unsafe food, poor quality, and misleading staff. Avoid this place...

On the 14th I and my husband went to this takeaway around 4pm and then a couple hour later that night I started to be sick.

I ended up in hospital with food poisoning and really seriously dehydrated, I lost a stone in weight in - matter of 36hours.

I said to my husband I need to go now I had no energy or fight left in my body, my body felt like I had no control anymore, I was that bad I seriously thought I was gonna die, and if I had not things could have been a hell of a lot worst and a complete different outcome, I was that dehydrated.

I still can’t eat or drink and I can’t look at food the same anymore and have a fear of ever eating again. My life after that experience will never be the same.

I beg anyone please DONT GO HERE your health and life is more important I don’t want anyone to go through that or anyone to see there loved one go through it.

I received a phone call that my food has arrived, someone shouting down the phone about how I need to come to him because he is outside. Long story short, he's at a completely different address. I walked with my walking stick to find out he lied about the adress he was at. Then I had to walk back with a bag of food and a walking stick. No free garlic bread. Fried chicken nothing special. They lost a customer quicker than they made one. Fried chicken restaurants are 10 to a penny. 1 star knocked off for lying, 1 star knocked off for shouting down the phone, 1 star knocked off for making a disabled person walk down the street and 1 star knocked off for false advertisement (no free garlic bread on orders over £15).
