Staff in here are so rude. I’ve been in on different occasions and they pretend to be busy and avoid eye contact to not bother serving you. They look like they can’t be bothered when they do serve you and I watched the “barista” make my drink and it was 60% ice and hardly any milk. Sorry but if I’m paying £5 for a drink I don’t expect a cup of ice - I can get that from the shop for a quid. Also, I noticed a lady asked to use the bathroom and was interrogated about whether she was a customer. The woman said she’d been in there for hours and purchased 4 drinks and the barista rolled her eyes and reluctantly gave her a code. Why she’s gatekeeping the toilet from paying customers is beyond me. I raised a complaint to the supervisor about the poor service I received from a member of staff who continued to make my order without all of the ingredients and serve to me without any communication of this (I had overheard ingredients were missing from her conversation with another colleague). When raised with the member of staff she didn’t apologise or offer to rectify. When speaking to the supervisor, no apology was made, only excuses about how busy they were and the conversation ended with her snide comments. Her attitude was that of a disobedient teenager. I can see from the lack of responses to other bad reviews here, that this level of service is accepted by the team at this site. Formal...

Having worked as a barista for over 5 years across Europe, I can confidently say that a properly made coffee should never be served at around 80°C. A good coffee should be ready to drink immediately, without burning your tongue.
Sadly, this suggests a lack of professionalism when it comes to coffee preparation. It’s a shame that such a large and well-known chain fails to follow basic quality standards.
I won’t be coming...
