My visit to the new Indian restaurant in Wythenshawe was nothing short of exceptional. The ambience was warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, blending contemporary elegance with nods to India’s rich cultural heritage. It strikes a rare balance between vibrant energy and a relaxed, intimate feel, making it an ideal setting for any occasion.
The staff delivered service of the highest calibre—warm, attentive, and clearly invested in ensuring each guest has a memorable experience. If they were out of something, they would come back to tell us and would recommend something similar or talk me through any other options.
The food itself was a masterpiece; every plate showcased bold, authentic flavours with an artistry reflecting culinary expertise. I highly recommend having the Varutharacha Chicken Curry. It was incredibly aromatic and tender and when paired with butter naan, it’s something you’ll be craving for the next few days.
The portions were generous and the prices were fair, and a menu that has many of the beloved Indian classics make this restaurant stand out in the local dining scene.
A true hidden treasure in Wythenshawe—I’ll undoubtedly be returning and recommending...
Read moreJust been for a meal to celebrate my sons birthday. The food was nice but a limited menu. They could do with putting the chilli symbol next to the food on the menu. For someone like me who can't tolerate spicy food it was quite difficult to know what to order.
There was a bit of confusion with our order when it came out. The waiter didn't really know what dish he was serving so many of us ended up with the wrong one. Normally it wouldn't be to much of a big thing but there were 17 of us and not knowing exactly what the dish was supposed to look like, it was difficult to sort out..
There were 17 of us so quite a large booking. We had booked 9 days in advance, but when we arrived we were on 2 separate tables. Given it was a family meal for our sons birthday it wasnt very nice to be separated. My parents unfortunately couldn't come so the teenagers sat at one table together which they wanted and we all had the second table. If all had turned up 2 adults would have been sat with teenagers and their girlfriends. One of their meals just didn't arrive, but we only...
Read moreWe visited Moss Nook Indian Restaurant today and had a wonderful experience. We tried the thattu dosai, ghee roast, and the kids meal (chicken and chips), along with chicken soup and hot chocolate. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious — especially the dosai and ghee roast which were packed with authentic taste. The kids meal was also a big hit!
The hot chocolate cooled down a little quicker than expected, but it was still tasty and enjoyable.
What really stood out, besides the food, was the ambience and atmosphere. The restaurant feels spacious, welcoming, and beautifully set up, with plenty of comfortable seating. Parking is also super convenient and very spacious, which makes the visit even easier.
Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back again. Next time, we look forward to trying more of their dishes...
