Formal Complaint Regarding Supervisorās
Dear Costa Coffee Customer Service Team,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your Costa Coffee shop on south well road on 13/02/2025 at 6:50 am Unfortunately, the behavior of one of your supervisors was highly unprofessional and left me feeling extremely uncomfortable.
During my visit, I was subjected to rude and unacceptable behavior, including being shouted .This was not only embarrassing but also shocking, as I did not expect such treatment from a staff member, let alone a supervisor. The level of customer service I received was far below what I would expect from a well-established brand like Costa Coffee. Instead of a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, I felt disrespected and unwelcome.
I believe that every customer should be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect, regardless of the situation. I kindly request that this incident be investigated, as no customer should have to endure such treatment. I would also appreciate it if you could inform me of the actions you plan to take to ensure this does not happen to other customers in the future.
I have been a loyal customer of Costa Coffee and have always appreciated the quality of your service and products. However, this experience has left me very disappointed. I sincerely hope that my complaint will be taken seriously and that appropriate measures will be taken to address this issue.

I have been in a few times, sometimes I go in and the staff are on it and they're lovely, drinks come out tasty and quickly even when at times it's busy. Other times I've gone in and it's a different group of staff and drinks are slow and not as good quality, they often take longer to take orders and not as on it as usual. I understand when things are busy it can get stressful, I have also worked in food services. There have been a few times that I've ordered an iced latte, plain and simple and it's been given to me with a lot of coffee grains in the bottom and if you've ever used a coffee machine they you'll know the taste of reused coffee granules. The coffee tastes off and watery on multiple occasions I've had so many coffe granules that they've gotten stuck on my teeth. Some of the staff are lovely, do their job effectively and always ask how I'm doing, other staff don't do that even if I'm the only person in the cafe at that time. There are other Costas within a 20 minute drive of this one are much better than this one and don't taste like second hand...
   Read moreToday was my last visit to this, and all future Costa's. It was the same poor service, from the same redheaded lass. I asked for a large oat milk latte, extra hot. What I got was a cup which was only 3/4 full and barely even warm. I didn't complain because a) I shouldn't have to, how hard is it to make a full warm drink? And b) I'd have lost my temper and gone Rambo in the place. I am not, paying for substandard service, anymore. I've had it with this place! 90% of the tables wobble. They know this as they clean them, sometimes. I also see customers struggling with the tables, so they must too. Do they do anything about it ? No... £5 coffee's are a joke, and £3 for a single teabag, people need to wake up. I'm voting with my feet, and my wallet, and I'll support local small businesses instead, or have a 10p...
