I came here this morning and ordered a sausage cob and a latte. The area was clean and fresh, and pleasant to sit in. The latte was actually good, however, as I picked up the cob I could feel it was hard and stale and started to fall apart. I took one bite and the sausage had the most foul taste and smell that I spat it back out and left it. I honestly wouldn't feed that to a dog. What's wrong with quality these days! Jeeez.. £7 down the hole. Last time I come here. Edit: Nice purple haired lady who collected my tray saw I hadn't eaten it and gave me a refund for the cob, which was nice of her. It's a shame because with better quality food, this could be a real good place. I hate to leave negative reviews (I'm sorry) :( but I hope this honest feedback leads to improvements in the cafe.

blacking out the windows 4 days ago is not realistically good idea in the cafe. The atmosphere was great going in ordering and chatting to the locals and staff. Now it feels closterphobic dark with no natural light coming in which makes people feel uncomfortable, not wanting to visit. The staff are not happy as they are loosing customers. I will not be visiting as often now because of the windows being blacked out which gives me headaches due to false lighting. HOPEFULLY this may make you see sence and remove the covering to let in the natural light and give the customers the view back.

Tesco Cafe is nice and standard with lots of seating areas and the food is okay for the price. The turkey special panni was delicious and was presented in a nice way and hot. The cafe sells quite a few selection of hot foods and drinks as well as a selection of fruit, drinks that you would get from the lunch aisle for food to go. My chocolate salted caramel brownie dessert was also very delicious, however I would of loved to have some cream or custard as an option. Overall experience was okay and I would go back again for another quick bite.

Big shoutout to Kodi and Lesley the cook for making our visit unforgettable — in the best way possible! Kodi was the kind of server you hope for: friendly, quick with a smile, and somehow always appearing at just the right moment like a service ninja. Need a refill? Kodi’s got it. Extra napkins? Already on the table before you ask. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they could read minds.

And then there’s Lesley, working magic in the kitchen. I don’t know what kind of wizardry Lesley is using back there, but every dish that came out tasted like a hug from someone who really knows how to cook. I’m still thinking about the food days later — and possibly dreaming about it too.

If you’re looking for great service, amazing food, and the chance to meet Kodi (possibly the nicest human alive) and Lesley (clearly a culinary genius), this is the place. 10/10, would happily eat myself into a food...

We came to the Tesco Oak Tree restaurant as we do most weekends but were all absolutely shocked when we walked in.. There wasn't one clean table in restaurant but I eventually found a cloth and spray to clean our table.. Should I really be expected to clean my own table.. I wasn't the only one either as there were loads of people asking for tables to be cleaned or cleaning them themselves which I found totally unacceptable.. I have been in a manageress in McDonald's for over 30 years and find this shocking..I took a picture of the tables near the tills that had dirty plates and cups etc on them that for some reason the staff were using to pile everything up.. It was quite busy and not sure if they were short staffed but very very very disappointed in the cleanliness that I witnessed.. We waited a very long time just for a bowl...
