Double Dragon — Restaurant in Mansfield

I could probably count on two hands the amount of times I've decided to eat out at a chinese restaurant, and the double dragon is the final nail for me. After a 10 year gap since the last chinese, I decided to try DD. There are friendlier guard dogs than the waitress who initially greeted us and served us. She was rude and very snappy. Then there's the food. Weird fatty chicken, generic sauce and dodgy prawns. How can any restaurant not devain a prawn. An absolute rookie mistake. Maybe they're partial to a bit of poo, or judging by some of the other reviews the customers like it, who knows. It was also labelled as "all you can eat" which was a lie. The waitress (she might have been the gaffa) snarled at us after ordering 2 items each stating if we didn't like something and left it, we'd be paying for it. Naturally I understand it's a business and where it states "all you can eat" that usually comes with the caveat of not taking the p*. However to be threatened at the 2 order mark is ridiculous. Especially considering me and my partner likened the food to that of a bushtucker trial. Anyway, each to their own..... I'll try another...

The food was really great and arrived in absolutely no time. The waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable too. The decor is outdated but not terrible, and there's very little parking space outside. One major let down was the waitress who started hysterically laughing when my partner asked what he should do if he doesn't like a certain dish (they have a no waste policy so you should eat all the food you order to avoid extra charges) and ended that laughter outburst by saying she was told by her manager that "you come to a restaurant to order food, not to try it", while still giggling between words. I was shocked with such a ridiculous and rude response, nevermind the idiotic laughter outburst. So yeah, great food, psycho...

Can't fault the food but knowing there was 31 of us for a 50th Birthday party tonight should've been prepared. 4 people on a table of 10 ordered their meal to be told that's enough?? Kitchen is too busy to take anymore?? My daughter was on another table & told sorry order later after everyone had eaten.. same price for a 5 year old who ate about 3 chips.. waiter had to leave to deliver a takeaway?? Overall not a...
