Lovely friendly welcome, well kept ales, great choice and spotlessly clean (especially the toilets) walking distance from the canal too but be aware the gate at The wharf closes at 9pm

Been here a few times, a great local boozer. Nice selection of drinks incl. Wyre Valley Ales (wish there were 1 or 2 more different ales on) but decently priced. Great selection of bar snacks. Good atmosphere as it is never too noisy or crowded. Simple, relaxed, cozy in the winter and dog friendly. Generally just...

Great little pub, routinely come here for the quiz on Mondays and it’s good service. They handle some “mouthy” locals well. Only complaint is they call last orders at 9:10 so everybody is gone by 9:30 - no trouble cus there is another bar down the road for the last 2 drinks (but seems like a missed business...
