An awful experience, which is sad as we were looking forward to dining in a new restaurant in Dickens Heath. In my opinion when a restaurant opens, it's about making sure that the customer returns, or/and they give positive reviews to their friends and family. Unfortunately this won't be happening. Service was slow despite being empty, and no questions were asked re allergies, of which I have. When we asked if what I'm allergic to could be swapped with an extra vegetable or something, there was a charge of £3 or more! Nothing was done to make our table of 5 feel welcome. The table behind us even upped and left in disappointment with their meal. I never usually leave reviews, but we were utterly disappointed with our experience, and will not return. I can't see how this business will survive, if during it's opening period there is so much distaste and lack of trying to please the customer, and that is sad. RESPONSE I feel I need not add much to my review with regards to your response, as I think your tone speaks volumes regarding your professional conduct. Your judgement on us a characters and customers is quite rude. We are far from a group of people who expect 'freebies'. Quite the opposite. We tip generously for good service and food, and you would have found this out had you have impressed us. We also neglected to complain about the frozen king prawns, as we didn't want to appear 'picky'. I can only suggest you attend a course on managerial responses to customers who voice their opinion, especially in the first few weeks of your business opening. I also ask, should I have ordered a salmon pasta, would you have reduced the price if chicken was requested? That is a rhetorical question BTW. Google it. Also, my allergy isn't garlic. But thank you for your time responding to my criticisms. I can see from the amount of people in your restaurant each night, that you have plenty of...
Read moreVery disappointing trip to what could have been a very promising new restaurant in the Dickens Heath/Shirley area. We visited in March 2024 not long after the restaurant opened. The pizza was bland and seemed like it was no better than a frozen oven pizza you could pick up from Asda. The worst part was myself and my partner both ordered a coke, his was regular coke and mine was a coke zero. When both the drinks arrived the regular coke was full to the top as it was on draught but the coke zero came in a bottle so only filled half the glass, both drinks were charged at the same price! All in all an overpriced and disappointing experience, would not...
Read moreI have had the best pizza ever in Birmingham. The staff was very welcoming and professional, the ambient of the restaurant was delightful, gave the vibe of a real italian place, it is great for families or for a romantic dine in for couples. Such variety of wines as well. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and will be...
