Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

I have had the worst experience at this branch in dickens heath. A member of staff by the Paige had a extremely rude manner and clearly did not want to be there. She was giving me really hostile looks from the minute I walked in and immediately I felt unwelcome. I ordered a tuna melt to take away and once it was ready she chucked it across the counter at me in her continued rude and unprofessional manor. I could also hear her talking down to and raising her voice to another member off staff working, this could be heard by everyone in the cafe and made a really uncomfortable environment for everyone. I will not be returning to this branch again. Costa seriously need to take a look at who there employing , Paige is clearly not the person...

I waited patiently for 6 minutes while the sole member of staff prepared a sizeable order for another customer. When it was my turn and I was about to order the previous customer asked for something else. I received no acknowledgment that I was even there for the duration ( almost as if I was wearing an invisibility cloak). A simple nod or smile or " I'll be with you shortly" wouldn't have hurt. I'm not a 'Karen' but I thought I'd do my talking with my walking and left...I doubt she...

Went for a canal walk and wanted a drink and something sweet at the halfway point. Bank holiday so was hoping one of the cafes in Dickens Health would be open. Costa came up trumps and there was also a lovely selection of pastries and tarts still available. Served up exactly what was ordered...
