Barajee - Best Indian Bar Restaurant Shirley & Wythall — Restaurant in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

Came to Barajee after hearing it recently opened and love to try out new local Indian restaurants 😊 Was not disappointed! The decor is beautiful and really well thought out, comfy chairs and a nice atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and also very attentive. Food was delicious! Sheekh kebab starter was really tasty and well seasoned, good size portion too. The mains were the star of the show. Went for the Murgh Naga Tarkari and Chicken Tikka Korma. The Naga Tarkari was one of the best Naga style dishes I've had. Full of flavour, nice kick without being too spicy and packed with tender chicken tikka. The korma was beautiful, really creamy without being sickly sweet or bland, which often korma is, struggle to get a good balance. Rice and naan were both nice. Very reasonable and good size portions. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new Indian to try out. You will not be disappointed. I will be recommending to friends and family. Can't wait to go...

My first time visit, I went with some friends and we all had am amazing evening we were warmly welcomed by the most friendly staff members. One particular young man (Tausif) who gave us the best service, we were recommended some fantastic dishes by him and the food that he did recommend all of us (as it was our first time then we told him to surprise us) was very delicious from the starters to the main course, our stomachs were really satisfied.

As previously mentioned about the first class service and the food being delightful I decided to bring my family and I tell you guys what they all loved it as well so I shall be coming back in and definitely going to make sure my friends and relatives do go to Barajee, words aren't enough to explain how fantastic this place is you all should try it...

While attending the NEC exhibition, I was recommended to try Barajee for a good Indian meal — and it turned out to be a great choice. Just a short trip from the venue, the restaurant offered a relaxing and vibrant atmosphere that immediately stood out. It had just the right mix of energy and comfort, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day.

The service was top-notch. My waiter was friendly and took the time to understand what I liked before recommending a dish — and it was perfect. The meal was full of rich, authentic flavors and clearly made with care and quality ingredients.
