When it comes to sit down Chinese restaurants, I find it can sometimes be hit and miss - usually overpriced and food is pretty average. However I can honestly say that Minhs is one of my favourite restaurants. Lucky it is on my doorstep. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food is second to none and I cannot fault it. The set menus are also great value if you want to try a bit of everything. I'd highly recommend the yuk sung (its amazing!) and the crispy duck and pancakes is also great. We’re quite into our Asian food and tee agreed it’s one of the best places we’ve been too. There’s plenty of starters which come as quite large amounts of food (Great for the kids). One of the kids is quite fussy and the waiters were really helpful choosing the right dish and changing parts of how it was cooked. He ended up loving it. I rated it pre-covid as one of the best Chinese eateries I have ever been to, and this included those in b'ham Chinese quarter, but as others have said, this is no more. The costs have gone up tremendously and the food quality has fallen to poor on a number of the dishes, even the sweet and sour chicken used poor small pieces of chicken, one of the pork specials was left with huge bits of skin that made me almost retch.
