Stopped off on a Tuesday night with a party of 8. The only other customers were another table of 6.

Despite this the restaurant seemed a bit overwhelmed with the rush and our food took over an hour and a half to arrive. Suggestions by us that we get some poppadoms for the table whilst we waited were cut off as apparently all food had to be ordered together.

The weather was bitterly cold and the restaurant was empty yet we were sat next to the door and the restaurant remained unheated. We spent the meal wearing outdoor coats and hats.

When the food did arrive the bread was burnt, although they did promptly replace this for free.

When we asked for a receipt to let us split the bill we were told it could only be given to us in the waiter's short hand & we wouldn't be able to read it. In the end we gave up on someone collecting the bill and queued at the bar to individually negotiate how we were paying. Although the card machine was contactless we were told that we couldn't pay that way in case we were trying to scam them.

Haven't ordered for a while as food went downhill and we fancied a curry tonight 28/08/2022. Well what can we say, tandoori mixed grill normally comes with a nan bread and a chicken thigh, well it was scraps if chicken and tough lamb full of grease, as for the poppadoms stale as anything and onions that were probably from last week as was the salad, asked for the nan bread well done, was anaemic and as for the chicken korma my god that was as watery as my hosepipe in the garden, then to top it off the delivery driver turns up and expects to keep the change, don't think so, he was shocked when he said you want your change, never have we wasted so much money on a takeaway.
