The Gladstone Arms — Restaurant in Mid Suffolk

The pub has gone down hill, it's dirty and the atmosphere is non existent. The bar staff don't speak to you. The toilets don't look like they have been cleaned sinks have not been cleaned in months the lime scale is disgusting,fact the whole pub could do with a good clean. The outside is just as bad, the garden is a disgrace, there are weeds as tall as the windows , do they just not see them. There is a sand bag outside the back door that has split and people walk it in side the pub. When I recently visited, it was the first time I've been in this pub for about 20 years and how it has changed. There is now a great decor, light airy spaces nicely subdivided into sections. I attended when there was live music on and an outside bar too so it was very busy but there were still tables tucked away for a seat and a quiet chat.
