I used to love coming here for breakfast every Saturday... Now it's terrible... Cold toast Rock hard bacon Under cooked tomato Over cooked eggs The sausages were ok... Tiny portion of beans ( 2 forks worth ) stone cold. The cook must have changed or something ,, the breakfasts here at the min are beyond terrible .... Alcohol that cheap, invites a very specific demographic. Update: March 19 2022 - the breakfast are still touch and go, guess it depends on the cook , as they don't employ chefs... ( a chef has qualifications as a chef, a cook doesn't)... Sometimes the breakfast is great, sometimes it's rock hard, stone cold and totally useless....today was one of those times. Absolutely disgusting, everything over cooked, Rock hard eggs, black bacon, cold sausage, cold beans, 1 rubbery cold mushroom, cold toast,,, dirty cutlery, and then some kid walks over and asks us if everything is OK!? We ordered 2 breakfasts and they came before we got our coffee.....!?! So it wasn't cooked fresh, it was all sat there on a hot plate. Disgusting breakfast. Wouldn't feed it to a dog. Then, to add insult to injury, they ask you if everything is OK !!!!!!! A bit cheeky if you ask me . Yes, it's cheap food we are not expecting gourmet,,, but we at the very least expected it to be cooked,,, not over cooked or rock hard and stone cold . Update: July 17 2022 - Ordered the American breakfast and a coffee ,, and 2 poached eggs with tomato and hash browns with a tea. Got told there's no tomatoes and no pancakes. So I changed the order to a large breakfast with coffee and scrambled eggs with a side of hash browns and a tea. What I got served was : A large breakfast with 2 extra poached eggs and 2 extra hashbrowns!?! And my wife got scrambled eggs on toast with hash browns .. I told a member of staff that not only was the food cold, and the eggs Rock hard, but also the order was very wrong . She kindly amended to order and reimbursed us. Unfortunately, I then had to go back and ask if I can have a freshly cooked breakfast that wasn't cold, with runny eggs and soft bacon and warm toast. After some under breath mutterings, the breakfast was returned, still cold . Cold toast , hard bacon, solid eggs,, and 2 forks of beans. I again mentioned the breakfast,, and was met with aggression. The manager then appeared took one look at the breakfast and said she will give me a full refund . When she did this she said that the breakfasts are always the same . I told her that the one in Ipswich was perfectly cooked and the one in Bury was excellent with much larger portions - she ignored me and walked off. Absolutely ridiculous service, disgusting behaviour and attitude and absolutely terrible food. Stowmarket really needs somewhere good to get breakfast.

Had breakfast in here on Sunday at 11 am and was very busy at this time, at least 3\4 full. Ordered my food at the bar, but you can order from the table via QR code. Food came quite quick, no more than 15 minutes' wait & had a large breakfast with a coffee which you get unlimited refills from the coffee machine. The food was very good, but I will say my bacon was slightly overdone, but other than that, it was great. There is a wheelchair friendly entrance & it has a seating area to the front & the back of the building for sunny days. Very clean inside & the staff are friendly and helpful & the meals are very reasonably priced, paid just over £8 for a large fry up (photo of my plate of food in pics) & unlimited coffee you can't complain at that :)

The food is really good. I have been many times before but today went on Father day. It was busy because of Father’s Day but I didn’t mind that. The only thing that made it quite bad is that it takes a long time for the food to come to you. Usually it’s about 10 minutes but today it was bout 30. But in the end the waiting was worth it and the meal was great. They also have a really good drink offer. If you buy a hot drink (only about £1.35) you get the rest free. Love this place. ❤️

Saturday morning arrived at this pub in Ipswich, there we're 2 members of staff behind the bar. One serving customers, and one serving orders from the app. I tried to ask a member of staff would she think its quicker to get served via the app or wait in the queue, she snapped at me gave me a dirty look and said. We'll get to you when we get to you.

I found a table and ordered on the app. Waited 35min a friend of mine popped to the corner of the bar and asked the lady if our order had been missed checking it was still there on the system that's all. He also got the same rude treatment from the same member of staff who was working through the app orders.

Our drinks arrived after waiting 45min, a member of staff in a green t-shirt walked passed we asked in a kind calm voice the name of the lady working through the app drinks. She gave us a look of disgust and in a sterne voice said she didn't have to give us her name. Ok fair enough. Is the lady the manager or just normal staff, again we got told she doesn't have to give you that information.

Because 2 coaches turned up and the pub was not told before hand it was coming they treated us like we were scum of the earth they were sharp snappy rude to all of us who were polite to the members of staff. The Staff didn't make us feel welcome at all from start to Finish. So we drank up and left. Safe to say we won't be coming back to this stuck up...

Today is not a good day to prompt me for a review - but since you've asked . . . We popped in twice today, going to and from the carnival bits. Had a coffee break heading into town around 2:30pm. Used the loo before heading on and passed an unpleasant pile of sick in the corridor which was doused in flour and had a warning triangle in place. No real problem with that - unfortunate for someone. That's life. However, walking home later 8pm ish - nipped in again for cold drinks and break from walking. Struggled to find a clean table -very grubby - lots of food about littering floor. We ignored that so wife could nip up to loo and stayed for cold drinks and rest our feet a bit. Wife returned to table appalled that the flour covered sick remained unattended and stinking out the hallway. I opted not to use loos because of that but she insisted I see for myself. It was very grim and smelt worse. We left after one drink but intended to raise the cleanliness issue with staff on the way out but they were clearly too busy to catch eye contact. Im curious to know how much longer that sick remained fermenting in the hallway as it headed into a busy Saturday night. We will no doubt go back after a 'break' but they do need more staff to keep on top of the cleaning up business but unattended sick in the hallway for over 5 hrs is really not on and certainly not when food and drink is continuously...
