Boss Burger — Restaurant in Mid Suffolk

First time using here. Phoned an order for me to collect. Was impressed by the cleanliness and professional appearance of the premise. Was one guy on his own, looked under enormous stress which made him reply rudely to a querie I asked about the food. Don't know if there is normal two of them. I spent over £50 on food that we didn't like. The Boss Burger was so soggy, it had made the bun really wet. The dog ended up having it chicken the rest binned. The vegetarian burger was not too bad, soggy, but not quite was bad as the Boss Burger, not worth the money. Chips were not great. Tried to revive them in the oven, not successfully, binned them. The calamari batter was really thick and hard so threw them away. Aldi 's are nicer and the doner meat n chips had the garlic sauce squirted all over it instead of a pot as a dip. The person eating that could not eat it because of it. Picked around the edges, ended up binning it and cooking some garlic bread from the fridge. £52 wasted on food we binned. That's two families who will not be returning. Wish we'd had a McDonald's. Hopefully was just a bad blip as the guy...

Where were you when I lived in Stowmarket? Sadly, I left before you opened. But I work with someone who still lives there and he couldn't praise Boss Burger highly enough. So we decided one Friday that the whole office would have one for lunch. I had the classic burger with added bacon, the steak and cheese loaded fries and a Bueno milkshake. And OMG I was not disappointed. The food, despite the 25 minute trip back to Stanton, was absolutely delicious! The burger was cooked to perfection, just a tiny bit of pink in the middle, and moist and juicy with plenty of flavour. And the fries were equally as delicious, as was the thick, creamy milkshake. I polished off the whole lot and then had to finish the rest of my shift with a very full tummy. It was that good that we did the same the following Friday!

Excellent burgers! We ordered the Has burger, Juicy Lucy and the chili chicken burger. The food here is excellent and I will definitely be back! Both the Juicy Lucy burger, and Has burgers have well thought through ingredients and the flavours work very well together, specifically the smoky notes of the flame grilled beef burger really working well with the chosen cheese and chili sauce in the Juicy, which lived up to its name. The Has was also very good, the sausage complementing the burger but bringing its own smoky and spicy flavours that make for a very different burger experience.
