Place for drinks was ok. But the lack of competence and training from the staff is shocking when it comes to advise on intoxication. customer not to drink water when being sick and so on an so forth! When being sick you are loosing fluids! And to gain back what you are loosing you need to drink to keep hydrated! Staff member advised to not drink anything!!
Being in the health and care sector for many of years it’s a given.. this place need more staff training and what to do when they have I’ll and intoxicated customers! And rather than pushing away train professionals, encourage them to their jobs when they are off duty!..
A customer come I’ll or intoxicated and when trying my best to help and rehydrate I was told to leave them alone.. so doing so I went home worrying about what happened…

Please when someone is helping and known what they are talking about.. let them help… especially when they’ve been in the field...
Read moreI was utterly appalled at the service I received this evening. I was requested to retrieve my own glass in which I explained had already been collected by the excellent staff. However, the manager of this establishment insinuated that I was deceiving her in relation to this matter which caused me immense embarrassment and discomfort. While her members of staff apologised for this oversight, I remain embarrassed and upset that I was accused of not paying my fair amount despite purchasing beyond £30 of consumables. Read moreA nice place, but we were rudely told to move away from the bar even though we weren’t actually at the bar. Berated by two staff members for questioning the issue politely and accused of having an attitude despite this. Shame but I might give this place a miss next time.
EDIT: looking at how you’ve responded to others who have had problems, your response to my customer review is as expected. Blame the customer and invent a new narrative. Nobody in our group was rude or raised their voice. This is categorically untrue. What I suspect happened was you just didn’t want a group like us in your pub not ordering food after a long day.
