Fox & Hounds — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

Upon entering the bar area it felt a bit like a locals pub, but don’t let that put you off. The staff are really friendly and, on a nice day, the back garden is a delight. The outside space is massive, with open and undercover sections complete with large tables for groups. While the inside is clearly geared to the live music nights advertised, the outdoor space is a relaxing oasis. The toilets are really smart and clean and they’re accessible without going via the bar, if you’re outside.

Waited at the bar, apparently inbisible to get a drink. About 15 mins in i asked one of the bar staff putting glasses in the cleaner if she could pour me a drink when finished. No reply, but looked at me like it was a ridiculous request. Two girls next to me said to her you should make him wait now, to which she replied "i was going to do that anyway." Waited 10 more minutes for a drink, none forthcoming, so i left. I have been here several times before when on crawls in stony, and never had any problems. Had a band playing live and with that the place was like id assume a sardine tin to be. 20 mins to squeeze my way to the bar only to receive my drink in a flimsy plastic glass which collapsed withing minutes of battling through the crowd to get some air out the back. Went home after that because the thought of pushing my way through the very touchy feely crowd didn't appeal. I felt violated....
