This was a major disappointment and is a place to avoid. The location is fine and the building grand but in need of TLC. Afternoon tea is a disgrace and very poor value for money. Two sparse finger sandwiches, (see the ham in the picture?) a not bad mini quiche and a cheese scone were the savoury element. Two more scones, a plain and a fruit were next with insufficient butter, cream and jam for the number of people. The scones were OK but who wants three? Top shelf was very poor quality brownie, carrot cake, flapjack and a macaroon. £28 per head, really!! Watch the drinks, a glass of mediocre New Zealand Sauvignion Blanc £14!
