noohn — Restaurant in New Forest

I don’t normally bother to leave reviews. Most things are mostly okay. I was with a group of eight people looking for coffee in Burley and I walked in just ahead of my group and as soon as I walked into this little place I absolutely wanted to stop here. Six of the others decided to head off down the hill to another coffee shop. The other person that walked in from the group at the same time as me also refused to go back down the hill. The reason? Just an instant overwhelming feeling of being welcome. Smiles Patience, a happy vibe. I was so glad I did. I've been coming to the forest for years now but only discovered Noohn in the last year or so and finally made it over at the start of this year for a quick coffee, have been meaning to come back for a while and did so Sunday just gone.

My girlfriend and I had a 20 mile hike planned and I knew the best spot for a mid hike picnic. Booked the vegan and the vegetarian sandwich, both were amazing as was the homemade dip and brownies.

The staff were busy, a good thing and still very attentive and friendly with the feeling of calm still. A lovely space you've got setup. We chose to take the picnic back into the forest to find a quiet spot to eat, absolutely perfect and everything in recyclable packaging.

Honestly this is the best cafe I’ve eaten at in a while! I could not fault the food, we had the granola for breakfast and it was so delicious, not too sweet and felt really nourishing. The coffee was faultless. We also bought two sandwiches to go and both of them had the perfect balance of flavours, and the bread was delicious, the perfect texture you’d want. Furthermore the staff were really sweet and welcoming :). I also appreciate the high number of vegan options available, and I’m sad that I couldn’t have gotten to try some of the cakes or baked goods on offer.
