Dynasty Indian — Restaurant in New Forest

Due to my working shifts This was a birthday meal for my partner.

It was low key as he requested. So happy to sort.

We both like travelling locally to visit different restaurants as we only live and work within the area.

Our table was booked for 6.30pm. we were a few minutes early. We were seated. We were asked whether we wanted poperdoms. We agreed. After several minutes our drinks order was taken. We continued to pursue the menu and ordered our food.

Food arrived. It was hot and nice. . Our meal was cleared away and we finished our conversation.

I asked for the bill. The owner came over and started grilling me. I work for a local hospice and home care professional provider and he asked me how my manager was if to try and trip me up. My partner is a carer for his mum and it was his birthday 🎈. This made me uncomfortable. We paid the bill and I did leave a tip as not wanting to make trouble. I normally my partner will never by returning. Nor will I ever be recommended this...

Had the joy of visiting Dynasty a few weeks back on a trip to New Forest. I heard great things about it, it looked solid with great reviews but wow.

Utter shock when me, my partner and our 11 month old tried to make an order. They didn't have any seating as they were busy which was fine. I asked to order for takeaway so we could eat our food back at the hotel but they seemed to have a horrible tone after I asked. I should have taken all the cues from there but I didn't learn my lesson. The staff member ask us all to wait outside in the cold even though there were free tables. We had to ask to wait inside at a table that wasn't going to impact any customers due to arrive and were huffy about that.

When the order came, the staff member just dropped it on the table and walked off.

Food, dismal. Staff, dismal. Overall utterly...

We have been coming to this restaurant mainly eating in for over 25 years. We could never complain about anything. The restaurant itself, the staff and the food. We would have to give 5 stars on everything. Ok sometimes we wait a little longer than normal, but that doesn’t bother us as we know the standard of the food and the quality of the staff. We hadn’t been for about a year, but on entering the restaurant, we were greeted with “ we haven’t seen you here for a while “. Remembering us from that long ago. We’ve only had one problem, if you can call it that, with the food, that one meal was a little too hot. They apologised and sorted it out immediately. This restaurant maybe slightly more expensive than others and you may have to wait a little longer than others, but I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Just don’t eat much before you go. The...
