Rhain's Diner — Restaurant in New Forest

I've been past this place a few times and always meant to go in and finally got the chance today I got the smokey mountain BBQ burger, chips and kinder Bueno milkshake. Food was really well presented, and the chips were some of the best I've had, beautifully golden crisp and fluffy centred, with just a slight bit of salt. Burger was stacked tall and looked exactly like pictures, which shows the kitchen staff are attentive to their creations The milkshake was an upgrade to the meal price but was certainly worth it. Came topped with a generous amount of cream and chocolate flakes so much that the cream nearly toppled over! The shake was rich, creamy with the Kinder Bueno rounding it all off perfectly. The diner is very tastfully decorated, with wonderful hand painted murals. The bar one being done as I write this.

Will certainly be back...

Tried this new local burger bar for the first time tonight and was not disappointed. The menu is a little limited but sufficient for most people. We had the basic cheeseburger meals, which included fries and a canned drink of our choice. We also ordered a side of 3 mozzarella sticks for an extra £3.50. The burgers were juicy and well seasoned with tasty sauce. Not sure the skewers to hold the burger together were necessary but a nice touch. The fries were delicious and freshly cooked. The canned drinks could have been colder but we appreciated being given premium drinks rather than the usual ‘soda fountain beverage’. All in all, the food is really good here and the service is very efficient. We cannot wait to return to try the more premium burgers, which also seem good value for money, especially the all-day...

Ate here yesterday and loved the atmosphere and decor. Had booked online, but the restaurant was quiet and was told we could sit anywhere and bookings weren't essential. I'd recommend you do book if you want to sit in the two larger booths for multiple guests. Son ordered the mac and cheese bites, a Ferrero Rocher milkshake and the Smokey Mountain burger. I had the Triple Cheeseburger. Son enjoyed the meal and milkshake. Mine was just OK. Glad to see that canned drinks weren't extortionate in price (just £1.20 a can).
