Subway — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

Usually really lovely but went around 9.10pm yesterday and the service was poor. Wasn't asked if I wanted any other sandwiches to the one I had ordered, I did. Wasn't asked if I wanted a meal deal of a drink etc. The sandwich was also not properly wrapped so it went everywhere when I pulled it out of the bag to eat. I understand it was fairly late on the night but the service just wasn't sure friendly at all and left me a little shocked as it's usually so good. Only getting the 4 stars due to the regular service and the fact the food is nice, but last night the customer service...

Update a year later (start of 2018) - With the increase in student accomodation it has become much busier here! It's still well managed and fairly clean. The queues get huge at lunch time though - but it does go down fairly fast. Staff are fine - not the happiest i've seen! But they do their job, and put deals through (but don't often point them out)! Still, it's a good choice for a decent, filling sandwich at lunchtime.
