Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in North Devon

Went in for Breakfast, for the little amount you get they half charge and arm & a leg. normal breakfast was £5.75 for 1 piece of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, 2 hash browns, 1 slice of toast a some beans. places like Weatherspoon's for that price you get double that.

service wasn't great, old lady behind the counter was miserable. We asked to add extras to our breakfast (at £1.25 a piece!) and she huffed under her breath because she didn't really understand how to work the till so she had to place our order onto the till then run into the kitchen to...

Went to order at 1605, no hot food being done at all, no toasties, sandwiches or soup... Drinks and cakes only. Did opt to have one of the 2 'kids sandwiches' that were still in the chiller.... Only to find it was frozen in the middle still. Very poor service in general. Staff seemed more interested in cleaning to leave at 5. I know it normally closes at 5, but would have thought staff would have been given half hour to an hour after it closes to clean down. Shan't bother to go there again.
