PB peri peri & Fried Chicken — Restaurant in North Hertfordshire

After trying the fried chicken and the coleslaw from PB, KFC can stuff theirs where the sun don't shine. Top quality food every time, missus loves the peri peri strips, rice, salad and wraps that are just as good. The burgers are lovely too with a smoky chargrilled flavour. Always turns up when they say it will too. Look forward to PB night every week! :-)

(EDIT 06-06-25) In view of my previous edit stating that the Southern Fried Chicken had become too spicy to eat, and the very helpful reply from PB about the fryer problem that has now been resolved, I can confirm that the chicken is back to being the best-tasting around. Rating reinstated to 5 Stars - one VERY happy regular...

Been in there a few times and the bloke serving behind the counter (middle aged with a grey beard) is the most unfriendly, miserable bloke you'll ever meet. Talks to the customers like they're idiots. Food isn't all that either. They only serve their rubbery left-over fried chicken for the last hour so, cos they can't be arsed to cook a burger. Save your money, go somewhere else. The only reason people go in there is because the takeaways nextdoor...

Terrible, ordered off their website and if there was an option for no stars they would of got it, first and last time I order from them, they forgot my rice and my sauces (most places DON’T charge for a small pot of sauce but they do) half of my meal missing, had to wait 25 minutes for the rest of it to arrive so by the time it came the rest of my meal was cold, the chips were half cooked, spent £24 and still paid £3 delivery and £1...
