Was really disappointed on my second visit here. It was nice the first time a few years ago but it was a quiet night and the food did not taste fresh & the portions were bad considering the prices. I paid over £20 for a broken piece of salmon and some vegetables. The rice was extra and there was no standard Turkish salad with the food. I have never been to a Turkish place where they didn’t provide rice or chips with the salmon or main dish and no salad as Turkish salad is renowned. The salmon dish has vegetables that were covered in chilli flakes which I hated and the vegetables just didn’t not taste nice or fresh and everything was overpowered by the chilli flakes instead of the actual taste of vegetables. The rice dish we paid for was very mushy reheated clumped together rice and was a tiny portion, it had no flavour and or seasoning and was definitely not the usual standard I would expect in a Turkish restaurant. My son’s nuggets and fries looked and tasted reheated and sadly not fresh. The tztiki was just yoghurt and herbs with no cucumber that I could taste and again just didn’t taste fresh or nice so I couldn’t eat it. The other starters all tasted reheated and in general the meal was disappointing and very expensive for what we got in terms of quality. It’s a shame but I also didn’t like the feeling of constantly being watched by the waiters and prematurely trying to take food away. The only thing I actually liked was the bread they give you at the start. Shame but I won’t be returning and hopefully they take on this constructive feedback to make improvements

Although I don’t post anything online, I just had to do this because I’ve been here multiple times and I think I need others to see this too. Genuinely some of the nicest people I met, it feels like you’re talking to family because of the way they ask, but its also professional too! I always get the falafels and chips and I might as well get it constantly. The food is cooked to perfection, not too hot not too cold, the hummus is thick and delicious, chips have that slight crisp that makes it perfect. They also have baklava and cake, quite s few types but not enough to overwhelm you. And even though I dont drink alcohol i can see there are many types of alcohol to try from beer to wine to whiskey! And of course not to mention the drinks too, which have quite a variety of soft drinks too! I also love getting the kunefah, (that’s how it’s said) a cheesy desert, but also sweet? It’s hard to explain but it’s to DIE for. Honeycomb type texture, seriously, so worth the Price. Please visit here when you can, you’ll seriously not regret it here

I've dined here once before on a Saturday night about 7 months ago, the food was delicious and the place was rammed. Popped in today for lunch, and it was a very different atmosphere. The place was empty!! And I don't know why?? The tinted windows do kinda make it look dark and possibly closed from the outside. But I was not disappointed by my visit at all .... We opted for their lunch menu, which is just £12.50 for 2 courses, so so reasonable. The food was amazing and the service was perfect. My only criticism would be that it was all served too quickly, I personally like a little break between courses which didn't happen. But if you were on your lunch break it would probably be ideal. If you are able to take advantage of their lunch time offer then you 100% should. And if not you should still make a booking one night. Highly recommend the Lamb Islim Kebab. I will be returning soon for sure

Firs visit here for my husband and me. We just had mains as we had tickets to a show. I had vegetarian moussaka and he had lamb/chicken shish. Both were lovely dishes. Hubby said the meat was tender and very flavoursome. My moussaka was very under seasoned.

The thing that brings the star rating down is the atmosphere and service. The kitchen it visible and run by 1 gentleman, the floor is clearly run by another gentleman (maybe brothers?)

Kitchen man was incredibly loud and shouty - to the pont he looked and sounded like a bundle of anger and stress - all very distracting... as was the CONSTANT dinging of the bells to alert servers that food was ready for collection at the pass. If not collected in a timely fashion that poor bell was dinged with increasing violence.

Meanwhile on the floor it was incredibly clear that the female staff were treated like sh*t. They were spoken to so abruptly and expected to jump to every curt command. It made for actually quite an uncomfortable atmosphere at times.

Service felt very disorganised. It didn't appear that servers had specific sections and were just scurrying everywhere with a slight sense of panic.

Food was tasty but it was not a relaxed enjoyable dining experience. I see many comments on service in other reviews.... maybe the owners should start to recognise...

We've been twice now. The first time had such bad service that it put us off coming back for a year. We decided to take my parents visiting from another country tonight. Food was fantastic but the worst service you could ever have. We had to repeatedly ask for service.. Call someone to ask them to take our drinks order.. To ask for our food to be ordered. After the mains were removed, we waited 45 mins before having to call over a waitress to ask for the desert menu. No one ever came back to take our desert oder. After an hour after mains finished, we asked for the bill to see a 12% service charge added. We asked for this to be removed and the waitress was so rude demanding why.. Trying to explain how the menu work. Getting the manager etc etc. Doesn't matter - we shouldnt have to ask for the desert menu and wait an hour without anyone taking our order! The woman was so rude demanding to know why we refused to tip. We didn't want to pay 12% tip but we wanted to leave a cash tip instead. She talked herself completely out of a tip at all with her demanding attitude wanting a tip despite only appearing when we asked for the bill. Well it's the UK - tips are not compulsory here. Absolutely shocking service. Avoid.

Food delicious....
