I love walking our dog here. We hv a black lab, who loves to run about n sniff. This place has lots of different types of areas. It has lots of wide open grass land for running. It has wooded areas for sniffing about in, mayb a bit of digging. It has a v small stream, so poppy can have a splash about. It isn't v deep, but slightly deeper in places. We hv seen small deer here and lots of rabbits. There are for others, 2 bowling greens and a pavilion. A skateboard area Childrens playground, a mud area for stunt bike jumping. Tennis courts. There are two car parks. One bigger, the smaller one by the cricket pavilion is free for an hour and a half, but u must still get a ticket from the machine. Its pay and display after that, but is v cheep. It has something for everyone,. It's not huge. But it's pleanty big enough for an hour and a half's walk around the outskirts for my energetic running hound, so...

There is a bowling club situated within the Common and an open air swimming pool, normally open between April and September. There are two carparks, but during peak periods these are full. The common is well used by dog walkers and people who are just out for a stroll or a sunbath in the summer. If your very quite you can often see Monk Jack deer along with a veriety of birds. Takes about 20min to walk around 30 if you take your time. No toilets, nearest shop worth going to is town.
