Initially when it opened this takeaway was brilliant, however the last few orders we had have been disappointing. The doner kebab used to have thick strips of delicious meat, the last one i ordered had cold wafer thin strips of meat and for a large kebab the portion size was smaller than a lot of places medium. The wife ordered coleslaw for £1.50 and it came in a small sauce pot. 2 part review. Firstly I enjoyed the food, pizzas, calzogne, garlic bread chips. Tasty, not greasy and importantly it is was piping hot when delivered. Secondly and why it gets 5 star. I ordered last week and the delivery was late (over 2 hours instead of 1). A lot of businesses would have apologised and done nothing more. Have ordered from here a fair few times since moving to Birchwood from Saxilby. The first few times were 10/10; hot food, quick delivery. Unfortunately our last 3-4 times ordering, the wait has been around 90 minutes & the food hasn't always been up to the standards we know it could be. When chasing the orders, staff are always polite & apologetic. It would be beneficial to make their delivery times more realistic when people are ordering via apps.
