Krua Thai — Restaurant in North Norfolk

This is the second time in the last two weeks that we have been to this restaurant and have enjoyed the experience on both occasions immensely.

The menu is relatively simple and short (which is a good thing), and you get to choose which main ingredient you want with each dish i.e. , pork, beef, veggie, tofu , prawn etc. which is a great idea and keeps everyone happy in my family.

The food is authentic Thai (I've been to Thailand) and is fresh, spicy and very tasty. Portions are generous and service is very quick and extremely friendly.

I find UK Thai restaurants seem to charge ridiculous premiums for their dishes, but at Krua, the prices are very reasonable.

Best Thai/Chinese restaurant around these parts by far.

Lovely looking little local restaurant. We had takeaway. The ginger stir fried prawns for £11 were good - raw chunky green bell peppers were not a great addition though; the pork Pad Thai at £9:25 was not the usual flat noodles, lacking in flavour and the pork was tasteless, bland, greasy and beige - just not a good dish and left a weird taste in the mouth. Also had the mixed starter. The satay, fish cakes and spare ribs were very good and full of flavour - delish. I’d skip the Na goong next time (no flavour at all) and same with the spring rolls, plus no satay sauce if you have takeaway apparently. Overall a bit of a let down and on the expensive side for the quality of what we had - £34.25 for 2 hungry...

We had a dinner in this lovely authentic place on the 26th of March 2022. This is a hidden gem. They serve mostly take aways but there are also tables. We had s dinner in and it was rather empty (but a lot of take aways). I ca only assume this is because it is a relatively new place and outside of Cromer. The food was simply fantastic. I love thai food and I have been having it for years in many different places. This food was really well cooked with fresh ingredients and of excellent quality. The level of spices were just right.
