Cullercoats Coffee Co. — Restaurant in North Tyneside

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the behaviour of two of your staff members at Cullercoats coffee on 02/04/2023. I feel obligated to bring this issue to your attention, as it has left a lasting negative impression on me and my family.

On the said date, we visited your coffee shop to enjoy a relaxing and pleasant experience. However, we were shocked and appalled by the unprofessional conduct of two female employees who were serving coffee that day. Instead of focusing on their duties and providing excellent customer service, they chose to engage in rudeness and mockery directed at another customer, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere in the establishment.

Not only did this behavior violate basic courtesy and respect that every customer deserves, but it also significantly impacted our experience. My family and I felt extremely uneasy, and it was incredibly disappointing to see such distasteful conduct from employees representing your esteemed coffee shop.

This incident has undoubtedly tarnished your establishment's reputation in our eyes. It is crucial that you address this issue immediately to ensure that such incidents do not recur, and that your staff members adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

I hope you investigate this matter and take appropriate action against the employees involved. Furthermore, I would appreciate being informed of the steps you will take to rectify the situation and prevent future occurrences.

Been once before in the past and didn’t have any complaints. Until this most recent visit.

Visited a couple of days ago with a friend. Saw a lovely looking large bacon stottie being served to another customer. I ordered the same meal. What I received was completely different - a tiny dry bun which would have been consumed in two bites. I asked a member of staff if I had ordered the wrong thing and explained what I had seen being given to another customer. She looked at me with what seemed like displeasure and said ‘ok’ before disappearing with my food. What returned was a better sandwich but was delivered by a different woman who shouted at me ‘I don’t make the bread’ before leaving. This actually left me bewildered and slightly scared to ask for some tomato ketchup. Customer service was miserable and rude. I won’t be going back.

Moral of the story was… don’t serve two different meals to customers who are paying the same.

Decided to try this Coffee shop as i took a break walking from St Mary's lighthouse to Tynemouth. Delicious Cappuccino and Cheese/ Ham Toastie, was going to try something else. But didn't want to hold up the queue trying to decide, and also then trying to find a seat and then table number. ..i did get a seat/table tick✔️.. This is where i deduct a star I didnt like Table 16, its a sort of, "Oh where do we put this table? ". "Lets stick it here" . Especially with the metal seat from Window table in the way, you cant move the chair . Its on a slight slope.. Squashed in. And i could only face, the guy making coffee . Also couldnt help seeing the Slightly grubby/untidy near the fireplace /coat rack area. /bookcase Needs a clean and spruce up. . Not sure what can be done about the table. We shall see. I will go back though. Loved the Coffee and toastie. And everyhing else. Also try something else next time ☕😍. A very popular...
