Sea You There — Restaurant in North Tyneside

What a horrible experience we had at this place. The staff was very rude and lacked service skills. when we arrived the music was so loud you could not hear yourself speak. We had a voucher for a cream tea, we tried to get the staffs attention to ask what was included...you would have thought it was a afternoon tea or maybe a scaled-down version with scone a cakes. No-one explained so we thought we will wait for it to come, the service staff brought out a very large plate that had a scone pot of jam, one butter and some cream and that was it!!! We asked if this was it or was there additional items coming, she said she would check but she never came back to let us know. The manager never approached the table to offer an apology, we, if fact were ignored. It was the worst place we have ever been into in this area that had some wonderful cafes. We left there and went to Beaches and Cream and had a wonderful lunch with fantastic service. I will never recommed Sea You There...

Spoken to very rudely by the waitress asking me to leave as I had food from another place. I explained that my friend was buying food and I was also intending to buy a drink and dessert. Waitress said it didnt matter and I had to leave. Customers there also joined in with heckling us to leave. This was despite having my friend's 5 year old child there with us, who was obviously confused and upset about being moved suddenly. Rude staff and rough, rude clientele. Family friendly it is NOT! Loved it. A great sea side café with a fine view over Cullercoats Bay. Had a coffee previously and enjoyed it as it was good quality. Saw the menu and thought of returning later which I did and had, what I considered, the best full English breakfast I had ever had. Beautifully cooked and presented. (Mind you I didn't have the hash browns!). The staff were brilliant with nothing too much trouble even brought a bowl of water, unasked, for my dogs. Service with a smile. Highly...
